Cant recommend this game enough. It promises literally nothing and it delivers EVERYTHING. Amazing art, awesome music, lovable characters and a very cool and interesting storyline.
Everything is beautiful except the story, haven't seen characters so devoid of life in some time

@@pjspriteanimations4905 Both you and chad are high af and not in a good way lolz. Everyone loves Garl but whatever... Are you guys talking about Valere and Zale? They are written as blank slates largely. It's not a flaw it's by design. Devs even admitted so. Similar to Cloud from ffl7 or crono in chronos trigger or even mario from super mario rpg... That way, YOU THE PLAYER, can better imprint yourself onto the playable protagonist character to be that much more immersed into the game...
Halo does it. Half life does it. Zelda does it. Witcher does it. Skyrim does it. Souls games do it. Lots of great games do this. Why can't you two silly boyz figure it out? Instead you just spew hate at what you clearly don't understand lolololol.
I'll sum it up for you guys. Hopefully then you will get the point of the story. Brugaves and Erlina are older generation heros. They messed up. Largely because they didn't have someone like Garl to help them make the right choices. You play as younger generation heros Valere and Zale, who thankfully do have a amazing friend who helps them not screw up. What happens to brugaves and Erlina was awful... They ruined their lives over it... A mistake that you, the player, wont end up making. Moral of the story? Friends matter. You start to truly understand that as you begin to realize that Garl is the true protagonist of the game, and one of the best video game characters ever made.
Lol why do you two hate such a heart warming story? What's good video game story telling in yalls opinion?

@@pjspriteanimations4905The only characters I can agree with you in are Zale and Valere. And that alone is a black mark on the game, I should NOT be in a position to agree with you.
But the other playable characters, Garl, Serai, Reshan and B'st, I felt they all had plenty of character moments. Got a feel for all of them. Their wants, their insecurities, their confidences and weaknesses
The man clearly times his hits.
Eric W Brown, the composer of this tune, is an incredible beast of a metal drummer in his own right, so it’s no wonder this track hits this hard.
Later in the game you can hear some metal guitars incorporated in the OST. It slaps harder than my grandma. MAN! I LOVE THIS GAME 😊

If anything was going to bring to mind the whole "prequel to The Messenger" aspect, it's rainbowdragoneyes' compositions. That intro alone really brings me back.

If you like old rpgs, SOS is a must play! It’s my favorite game to come out this year.
I never bought a game so fast after playing the demo, reminded me of Golden Sun, Chronotrigger, Mario and Luigi games. But so much prettier. I love the style and am looking forward to playing more every time I put it down, so engaging

Eric Brown is such a fantastic composer. Been following him since his RainbowDragonEyes and Magic Hammer days. Really glad he found a home at Sabotage to really flex his melodic chops

Sabotage has already established a solid fanbase that has shown massive support for their works, I’m sure they’ll keep growing and be a mainstay in the indie gaming community. Which means more people will get to experience this over time. And if not? At least we got to experience these gems for ourselves.

Absolute banger tune for a banger game. Sea of Stars showed up for me when I needed it, and got me through some major changes in my life. One of my absolute favorite games of all time. The story is amazing, the characters are so darn lovable (Garl especially), and the gameplay is exciting and calming at the same time. 10/10.

I just picked up this to play while i wait for other games to come out, but i was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. It looks pretty, characters are great and the music slaps! Unexpectidly zelda like with its dungeons

It's be so cool if you could do the entire ost like you did with some games in the past, although I guess it's a lot to ask considering the full ost is 9 hour long...

Can’t believe this is the last bit of evidence of the original version of Encounter Elite. It’s so much better than the final official version.
And I’m not talking about the drums, around the start there’s a different percussion instrument used that’s more consistent with the rest of the song, and current version is much weaker.
