Hey mate, i know this video is two years old but want to say big ups to you. Been trying to fit my own TRLane roll bar and this has been such a huge help. So many videos of similar things that miss all the minor details. You show em all. Im about half way through myself now. Got the roll bar in and locked into the seatbelt, just need to get around to taking the wheels off and drilling :] Thanks
@@RustLocker 2 weeks later ive only just been able to get the wheels off and drill through, didnt have a jackset til yesterday. Got one side done but im nackered now, going to do the other side another day. Taking my sweet time as even though we're on lockdown, im still working everyday. So far no issues though! Hoping the otherside goes just aswell Seriously would not have been able to do it without this vid so again, thanks :)
Great vid, very help even with installing my GCFabrications bar. One quick note for others, instead of hacking away those angled pieces, just drill out 4 spot welds and it neatly pops off!
You should ask people to install/repair stuff on their cars and post the videos on your channel so you'd gain more followers. You are reeeeaally helpfull. I've been watching your videos over and over cause I got a mx5 nb aswell, and you explain everything so detailed. Great channel man, thank you!
@@Miguelskytwins yes, the bolts and plates came with mine, if you bought from tr lane then I’d get in touch with them, maybe they forgot to package them.
@@RustLocker all received and installed it today... I can't believe you did it by yourself man, I'm so glad my mate helped me cause it was a pain in the ass😂. Thank you!
Another good vid. You'll find that the seats won't go right back as the upright of the roll bar sticks in to the seat back. I fitted a similar TR Lane roll bar and had to compromise with slightly less leg room :¬( but you get used to it and for safety and looks it was worth it :¬D . I'm interested to see what mod you do next.
Very helpful video thanks a mucho :) hacked away at the first plate that was spot welded on with a hammer and mole grips 😂 good ol british weather having to postpone the job now lol

Yea, I’d really like to add more content to the channel, I’m not sure how just yet, but I’m always thinking on it.
@@RustLocker btw, I forgot to ask; did your bar came with bolts and the metal plate? Mine didn't
@@Miguelskytwins yes, the bolts and plates came with mine, if you bought from tr lane then I’d get in touch with them, maybe they forgot to package them.

Nice one. Good luck!
All done just got to cut carpet to parcel shelf and great tip on cutting shelf in half no large gaps front to back as side feed
Great news, glad the video helped.
Did the spreader plate come with it?
yes they did
Good job.
Great video, but it’s put me off completely 😄
If I can do it, anyone can do it - trust me
Fairly certain I’ve just bought your old seat belt covers off ebay😂
Thank you so much for showing us exactly how you drilled the holes for mounting..... that part was pretty useless
I drilled the holes with a drill, nothing fancy.
3 days 😂
