This will always be Nightwish for me. They were one of the best bands in the world in this formula. And their take on Gary Moore's classic is pure brilliance, I'm sure Garry loved it.

Thats actually almost totally true. After Anette Olzon had her day in court against them courtesy of the band violating their contract with universal studios by sabotaging her in Denver so they could fire her and replace her with a cheaper performer (floor jansen).....well Anette won enough money and royalties to not need to sing however thank God she does with her band The Dark Element. But her court victory led her to push Tarja into also claiming rights which Tarja did in 2014 and won. In 2015 Tarje released her own Nightwish album exclusively in Finland and it was #1 there for 3 years! Today its still in the top 25. On tour she does a segment of Nightwish material which she abbreviates because to her she has moved on. TO HER MAYBE, for the rest of us, this was her truest destiny. Anette was a very good substitution in her own style but Tarja owned that band and the others hated it.
