this is perfect content for me. so much of the guides and stuff i find are either a) for beginners or b) talking super in-depth about nuances of certain topics. many neglect the seemingly simple but super important strategy like this. keep it up!
You won't believe how much this video helped me. only 2 days later and I'm already noticing significant improvements in my play. thank you Ramses Esports
Man, what a great watch! You managed to put a lot of aspects - which I already thought about when reviewing my gameplay and approaches to MUs - into a greater context.
Yeah i noticed like a month ago that i never had a gameplan but i was always trying to force myself to adapt to what they were doing which worked sometimes but was very inconsistent and very frustrating. Ever since then Ive been having a little crisis and im really trying to teach myself being able to create a general gameplan/gameplans for different mus. I hope this perspective will help...
@@RamsesEsports What would be a counteroption to super safe landing aerials like Inkling Bair, Zss Nair, Mario Bair? Is it just waiting it out and trying to whiffpunish it which would mean id have to overshoot? Is it trying to catch my jumps before i use the aerial which id have to bait out their jump against? It seems very hard to imagine consistent counteroptions to moves which are that safe.
No problem! If you want to go more in depth in the topic, consider booking a coaching session. It's pretty in depth and it'd let us explore that depth :)
I feel like this video and the last were made for me. Literally right after our session these videos come out explaining the thing you said I needed to work on. 👍
Mixing up for the sake of mixing up and the flowchart of options is probably one of my greatest struggles with this game. I always ask myself “what if my opponent does (insert said counterplay option here) it’s probably the main reason i drop so much stuff.
@@RamsesEsports A majority of low to mid level players second guess themselves and then can’t make those decisions that make or break games/ sets. (At least that’s how i see it…)
Hope you guys enjoy this one!!
Can you post the notes?

Thanks Ben! I love making content for players who havent had someone show them some of the depth of the game. Glad you enjoy it!

It's a common issue and one I've struggled with myself. I'm happy this could help you!

Great stuff, thanks a bunch!
Great vid
Thanks Dylan0!!
Good stuff
Thanks Gin!!
I understand preemptive walling and waiting/whiff punishing, and burst range establishment, but what is an example of setting up on waiting?
Since your opponent is waiting, you short hop in to set up a landing aerial that's harder to punish.
Could you put the document in the description
Quality
Thank you!!
What do you think ROBs dominant option is?
FH Nair :)
@@RamsesEsports ty, I wasn’t sure if it was gyro shot or nair, appreciate. Also, great video!
