OpenIPC Dual camera DIY FPV system on a sunny day

  • ArWing 900. qOpenHD on the ground. wfb-ng for the radio.
    Sunny, but windy.
    Laptop on the ground.
    Two cameras with OpenIPC on the plane.
    One configured as "server", receives mavlink from FC and controls the radio.
    The client cam streams video to the "server" cam via LAN.
    When a button on the transmitter is pressed, mavlink message is received and the video source in the the "server cam" is switched between Server or Client sensor.

    can you share what's your cameras and transmitters? are you using some raspberry pi board for the vtx or vrx?

    Do you write your own custom C code for the Linux openIPC camera to switch camera view between server & client ?

      No C code. I control the second cam via SSH , so only several lines bash script are enough...
