I think a big advantage is that now you can follow the 1/2 rule for having nice motion blur by using gyroflow. With rocksteady you had to have the shutter speed at least 1/200 and more in order to have good stabilisation

I’ve been using the beta version of this firmware for a couple of months and it’s been great. I even picked up a second one for $200 AUD after Christmas because it got that much more usable for me
It’s literally ridiculous that Action 3 can’t stabilise in gyroflow and action 2 can. I’m considering selling my Action 3 and getting a go pro or action 2. Action 3 is wicked for other things like driving hyperlapse, or in the water footage but the gyroflow thing kills it for me for fpv!
Does it have the same sensor as in the O3/AVATA? If so, I guess the lens is better because the footage looks a bit better imo. Anyway...still missing that dynamic range GP has. Great video, great flying.
@MrSmith FPV only if you want to fly through mad latency. He's on 03, so at 120fps he's getting 25-29ms latency...60fps is 30-40ms...30fps...and the quad is buried in the ground 😁

Any idea the distance you can preview an image on an android? Feet? I know nothing about drones or this camera. I was trying to figure out if it previewed like the gopro app. The gopro app has like a 2 second delay. And I can full screen the preview on gopro. I need a really good preview and long distance.. thanks

I used the 03 as a gyro logger and it can work as backup sometimes but the data it does receive is kinda wonky. In the middle of moving otherwise I would be out here testing it.
I just picked up a Mavic 3 Classic.....could this same rig work for the Mavic...? I fly my mavic using the Goggles and Motion controller....and like to fly it as aggressive as possible....but would love to have the ability to smooth out the video in post. 1) does the Mavic 3 classic need to have a "lens Profile" in gyroflow to achieve this..? 2) does the Mavic 3 need to have the 4:3 aspect ratio to achieve this...? ( because it doesnt). Would love to hear your expertise.....👌👍

But it’s also way cheaper than a gopro and it’s less than half the weight. For freestyle that matters much more to me. It also never stops recording in a crash like gopro does
Yes? Well, a GoPro is garbage compared to the Mavic 3. So if you want "cinematic" footage, buy a Mavic 3 and put it in FPV mode. All this tiny sensor camera nit picking gets really old. Neither of these cameras are setting the photography/ vidography world on fire.
@@OriginaldoBo I meant the dji action 2, it has an audio system. The videos of a freestyle without the sound of the propellers doesn't make sense to me. I see a lot of people with ok skills replace the onboard audio with music or turn it off and put a background music, it just isn't right.

I like the thumbnail 101 (anal face lol). I just updated mine and flew it on steady and it did good. I’ve been using mine for a while now but with #nostab. I think I’ll go back to #nostab but at least it’s an option to use it now.

@ClaymoreFPV i tend to shoot HD in 60fps or 120fps too, so it's butter smooth and i can slow it down. Had alot of directors who wanted 24fps 🤷♂️

Osmo 2 is better for lighter quads, and Osmo 3/4/5 for 6/7 incher or bigger.

My Action 2 collects dust, completely surpassed by the 03 Air Unit. Nearly identical image quality, without the awful battery and storage limitations

There is no onboard audio with the DJI system.

If you use the widest profile you will not get gyro information from the camera. I very seldom film vertically
