Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any sensor calibration. I saw the negative weight but there is a calibration process to reset. It would have been helpful to watch you go through that process.

I got the Maxicom. Easily reset the tire size for speedo calibration on my Dodge Ram. So, it proved itself useful already. Now, my Miata NC has been plagued with passenger seat airbag off warning. Removed the seat cleaned the seat rails (found a piece of chewing gum) had to disassemble for access (8-point bolts provided misery). Reassembled/installed, took a reading, MAXIcom shows -281.?? LBS. Sat in the seat no change. Tried recalibration, the MAXI asks for VCAN, HCAN or VISF. I have no idea which to choose. ESC/Cancel, then the MAXI proceeded with re-zero attempt (move seat rear most position, pat the back. No weights asked for). Failed. I'm giving up on that sensor setup, having located a new (hopefully)complete seat. Waiting on that. Are those Protocols necessary to the re-zero process?

My sensor must be bad because when no one is sitting in the seat the seatbelt light keeps dinging. Is there any way to deactivate the sensor completely?
