Okay, I think I have a few ideas on what those other punishments could be. Channel/message spam will probably hide your messages in specific places. I would assume channel spam is only for a specific channel, but then I don’t know what message spam would mean so I’m just going to assume channel spam hides your messages in a specific server and message spam in a specific channel. Disable suspicious activity will probably prevent you from using certain features (like posting images) or from using certain words in your messages. Limited access will probably just limit your access to discord in some way. I don’t really know how it would though. Channel schedule delete, if channel means server like i assumed in the first thing, will probably delete a server you own if you don’t take action in time, and probably also prevent you from making a new server. Message content removal will probably just entirely delete certain messages you send. User content removal is probably going to remove any form of media from your message and reset your profile. Finally, user message removal will probably just delete all your past messages.
Limited access might mean you can no longer join new servers or change your About Me/name/profile image, or make it so that you can no longer log in on new devices.
Just to point out about your assumptions of channel meaning servers, discord refers to "servers" internally as guilds, as seen in some of the other punishment names, so its more likely to specifically be just channels within guilds
I doubt they'll show anyone's actions taken for who you've reported. Mainly because back when the email system let you do it, they specified in the email that they can't share actions taken for privacy reasons. "Please note that for privacy reasons, we're not able to share the specifics of the action taken, if any."
They have already had that Google Authenticator setup for your server so you as a server owner can choose if their mods/admins (including the owner) needs to provide their Google Authenticator code in order to transfer ownership, delete or modify any major setting for your server. I have been using this feature for more than 6 months now
NTTS, Android phones also act as a Security key now! They will connect via. Bluetooth to the device to authenticate after you verify your lock screen security or biometrics. Hopefully that helps!
5 years ago security keys were impossible to copy with the correct software you can copy the key on the yubi-key into a file and if you are a person who wants to steal the password send it to a remote location like a proton mail server to be encysted in their freely provided encrypted but small unless you pay cloud storage. Now the action that has to be taken for all of the software i know about to work is the user has to use the security key after the malware is installed. Most who are install security enough to get a security key will notice a unknown program running at start up on.
I love how ppl r just rushing to the comments and smash their keyboard just to hope that they'll left history when they get a new vid notification, So epic
The join server permission would be way more secure if it was a one-time use thing, Where a user grants an app permission to join on their behalf, and then the app can join to you precisely 1 server (or "guild") before the user has to re-grant that permission. Or for edge cases such as apps that want to join you to 2 or more servers at once, eg. "Join support & community servers at the same time" sort of scenario, Only allow the app to join servers for you for a few minutes. I do agree that this "infinitely join until un-authorized by user" is definitely a security issue, but removing the feature isn't the only solution to this problem.
For the discord account reputation, they should add an option called: "That ONE friend group" where you can only apply it to one of your group chats and then no one can report you or anyone else in it.
The Join servers for you scope should be as a friend request: when a bot tries to add you to a guild, it shows you a pop up like "The integration X is asking yo to join My Awesoma Scam Guild" and then an accept, deny and a "Why I got this message?" Buttons

Tencent: "Discord, you will add a social credit system to your platform."
boy do i love chinese conglomerate companies with almighty control of everything
Currently been waiting 2 weeks for discord to read my support ticket, they disabled me for being underage and now they are threatening to delete my account because I have a Polish passport. I live in the United Kingdom and I am 15 but they don't understand. They think I am in Poland.
@@klocek2131 Yeah they disabled my account a few months ago and it wasn't a problem so I am not sure what is going on now.
@HOUOUIN_KYOUMA_001 yeah i never thought it would be a problem since i had the account for so long, guess i will learn my lesson now
I wonder if the 5 reputation steps will be bypassable by a coordinated attack by a single guy maliciously reporting you from multiple accounts to instaban. Kinda like you can get 3 youtube strikes from daughter companies of the same entity or even from the same source in short span. And ofcourse we know this system will be automated, without human reviewer, until you try to appeal, which will be too late.
I know for a fact that my reputation in the Sodor Online server my reputation will be in the negatives
6 MOUTHS REALLY thats insane
5:05 nono please keep mentioning that stupid permission, discord really needs to get rid of that.
Being able to make a new account if your old one gets in trouble has always been a problem for anything free and occasionally even paid for services. Not really much they can do
Amazing work as always Discord God 😅.
Can't wait for the Security Key implementation that's a feature I already really appreciate on other software I use 🎉🎉🎉.
Bye Bye Mwah 😂 Love to hear it... I feel appreciated lol
Can't wait for the Discord social credit system
Nts, do you use any *legal addons for discord, or just for video and showin us new updates on discord other versions?
Looks like youtube has some notes to take
You sound more energized all of the sudden lmao
