Kendall looked really good during rehearsals! But I always thought that Kendall’s heart wasn’t really in dancing and she was there just because Jill wanted her to push through and stay there (Whether it be for Jill’s own selfish reasons or not, I mean, just look at Jill’s tango... 👀). Also, just look at how many times Kendall wanted to leave during the show and how many breakdowns she had! Poor girl was probably pushed by her mother to her breaking point, and also by Abby Lee... If she was in better hands, she could’ve became a better dancer or even just enjoyed it as a hobby like she probably initially wanted to...

Yup. Kendall was supertalented but superlazy. The few times she tried she was amazing. The rest was a disappointment- and also meant she didn't put in the work at home. I think Abby really tried to push her because she had so much potential. But in the end the kid has to want it. I always felt this was for Jill more than for Kendall.
Well I don't think Jill forced her that is an unfair statement to make I think Kendall wanted to do it at first but then later stayed for the fame
@@jemmaels1956 I think Kendall initially wanted to dance. But, with the exception of Maddie, Lilli, Brady, Pressley, Payton (senior) and Brynn- most of the kids on the show wanted fame first then dancing. Training as a teenager at the elite level when dancing is not the end goal is not easy. A lot of the girls really and genuinely thought they wanted to dance. But thinking you want to dance is very different from actually wanting it. And it's hard to recognise the lack of actually wanting to dance when you're masking it by thinking you want to dance.
@@MsJubjubbird I think Chloe wanted to dance Bc even after she left the show she never quit. Even Christi said she tried 4 other sports and always came back to dance. She still dances today.

Tbh Kendall mostly gets bad choreo. I know she' not the best and can be very lazy, but often with better choreo dancers are FAR better.
Most of the time it doesn't flow at all and her being lazy doesn't help.
Edit: we can see how well she did in "run baby run" with Maddie. She actually had decent choreo
But Maddie gets bad choreo sometimes and still wins or places well. Melissa doesn't complain so you wouldn't know. But something like Birthday, All God's Creatures or Lights Camera Action were terrible but she still did well.

Man by season 4 it was so hard to watch this show Bc poor Paige was literally suffering a mental break right in front of us. I still remember when it was her turn to dance the group dance individually and she literally had a breakdown Bc she was so afraid. Watching it as an adult now I realize how horrendous it was for the moms
