Your mini articulated dump truck is the best build series I've ever seen on RUclips, and I'm saying that from a background of engineering fabrication, it's just the best.
Right on! I really appreciate it, definitely a fun build for sure. Don’t think I can devote that kind of time on future projects anymore, after having my second son time became really valuable, plus they grow up so fast. Definitely glad I made it though and at least I have the video series to watch some day. I haven’t yet ever gone back and watched them yet. Have a great weekend 😊👍
We viewers need to get you to a million subs..... you have worked diligently for years, you have earned it. The fickle finger of algorithm has not been as good to you and your quality videos. Thanks mike!
You need to be blowing up, you have been making great content for years now. Your design, fabrication, and creative approach to building is inspiring. Thank you!
Thank you! I really appreciate it man 😊👍 It would be nice but I think somehow I got on the wrong side of YT, they seem to not even notify most of my subscribers when I posted a new anymore.
Awesome seeing a new video Mike! You should consider hinging the tailgate on one side so you can latch it to the side rather than taking it off each time you want to dump.
G'day Mike, good to see this little truck back up and running. I know copped a bit of flack when building it, but watching this clip of it articulating and climbing over obstacles while carrying small loads must silence most of those armchair engineers. It really is an amazing little truck you fabricated from scratch, and I loved those build series too.
The Articulating dump truck was one of the first builds I seen from you! Sooo glad to see it's still around, and even getting repairs and much deserved screen time! Awsome video as always Mike!
Hey you're back! I'm a Subaru guy and they make lockers for that R160 rear end. Torq Locker. Seem them work well in Colorado off road trails! Looking forward to more adventures.
Love watching these videos. Small machines like yours are so practical in a dense forest. I do 80 % of my work on my homestead with my atv and many accessories I have custom made for it. But for winching huge maple trees, my good old Zetor with a farmi winch is what I need. Take care man !!
I'm still in love with dump truck! You can also reinforce shafts with pipe cut in half and "wrap" it. It was a lazy idea I had, b/c properly welding sucks. Turns out, it works great.
I love that little machine. I’d like to make one with 4 wheel steering instead of articulated. The equipment builds you did are my favorite watching you get creative and making something your own.
Good to see it back in action. I remember watching you build this truck, couldn't wait for the next update.. It was the same with your Mini-Pinzgauer build.
Hey man, love the often out of the box think and fabrication you do. Been watching since a little before the articulate build I believe. Glad to see it back in the vids
I have seen quite a few cool homemade vehicles on YT now, but your articulating dump truck is hands down the coolest one of them all. What an epic machine. So capable. I thoroughly enjoyed watching ever second of your build videos.
For some reason many of my subs notifications got put to "personalized" which apparently mean none. Good to see you are still doing stuff, i kinda forgot about you.
Mike, I love the dump truck, i have missed seeing it around the channel. That what brought me here but i stay for the awesome content. Keep up the good work.
your dump truck is a master piece of work ,watched all of the older build videos first class, and your right about youtube not putting the videos front and center for your subscribers, hopefully they sort it out thanks for the videos
I've been thinking the same thing for 4 years now. Mike's content is top notch, I have to check my subs to find your videos. Middle of last year I stopped checking, and when I looked him up again there were 7-8 videos I hadn't seen....felt like I won the lottery........thanks Mike!!
Yes me too, I would have loved to have a mini like this 20 years ago, man it could have saved me a lot of hard work around my place, just wasn’t available or even remotely in my budget back then. Thanks for checking out my new video!
Love seeing the 1-ton in action. I'm installing a cooling fan and hopefully back panel latches this weekend on my Rippa. I also just realized that the boom control stick has a thumb horn button on the top of it. Hoping to swap out the horn with a klaxon... aooooga!
Oh yeah, mountain goat and rippa vid in one! Excellent stuff. On the axles.. if they break again I would suggest taking them off the dumper and preheat them before TIG welding them. After welding wrap them in some rockwool/sheetrock and let them cool down slowly. Should hold a bit better. As always thanks for sharing. Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark
Thanks for checking out my channel again, seems YT doesn’t show most of my subscribers that I have new videos out, I’m still posting every other Friday. Same schedule for the past 5 years now. Take care 😊👍
Mike, Definitely one of my favorite build series any on all YT. Great to see it out working again and performing like nothing else is capable of. 👍👍😎👍👍
Hello Mike thanks for another great video. Wonder if you would consider building a high lift hydraulic tailgate for the articulated dump truck. I think it would work great for you. With your fabrication skills it could be a good build to follow.
ive followed you from when you did welding tips on cheapish welders I'm in the centre of the uk well just off slightly East Midlands Leicester love you vids always have
@@Mikefestiva I'm on almost 6 acres. I recently bought a Chinese mini excavator too, But I was talking about your dump truck. haha. I ended up buying the Typhon Terror XVIII. Its a great little machine.
Mike! That build series was my favorite of all time. I love that machine you have built, so smart and handy of a design. Also got to see more of your property than i had previously. Nice f150 i just bought a new to me 97 f250 last of the square body. 9th generation with a lift gate on it. Cheers
@mike festiva Thanks for great video You might consider backing the articulated dump bed under the edge of the log splitter table, then the splitter will push the firewood into the bed directly Best :-)
Nice video Mike! I have a slightly smaller excavator (~800 kg) but with all the attachments you mention, as well as a hammer, and have had a ton of use out of them. A lot of people doesn't seem to understand how extremely useful and versatile a really small excavator can be for jobs around the property. I have a bunch of videos where I use the different attachments while doing work on my property if you want to check them out in action, so to speak. :)
2k lbs in that thing? It's going to snap in two.
Maybe if you built it 😂
@@Mikefestiva dude you but welded axle shafts... that thing screams quality.
@@mp-xt2rg At least I can build something like this. Let’s see what you can build?
You got one video one your channel 👍
@@Mikefestiva No doubt you build lots of things. Its all crap but you have lots of it!
@@mp-xt2rg Hopefully life starts turning around for you man. 👍
Take care and try to make the best of it.
Nothing starts a weekend better than a Mike Festiva video!!!
Right on! I really appreciate it! Have a great weekend 😊👍
Ain't that the truth 🎉
Dude so glad to see old machines from your previous builds! You should do some short "where is it now" videos where you do quick walk arounds
Oh yeah I remember watching that entire build serie!
Your mini articulated dump truck is the best build series I've ever seen on RUclips, and I'm saying that from a background of engineering fabrication, it's just the best.
Thanks I really appreciate it! 😊👍
Mike of all your builds the Articulated dumper is my favorite and nice to see it back in action. That little excavator is a workhorse!
The articulating mini dump is my favorite series. There is alot of education and tips for people...as well as some sweet drum solos!
The articulating dump drunk was one of the best build I have ever seen on RUclips, It is good to see it back in action.
I loved that Articulating truck build. I've watched that playlist half a dozen times now.
Thanks 😊 I really appreciate it 👍
one of my favorite projects of yours. the engineering on that center joint was awesome to watch.

I was wondering why we hadn't seen the dump truck recently. Glad you have it back in service.
With that kind of setup I might actually enjoy doing firewood!😂 Glad to see the mini dumper back up and going Mike!
Right on 👍 thanks William 😊
dude that thing is perfect for building mountain bike trails
That was the first thing I saw you build! I love all your mini roads for your mini vehicles!

Nice job Mike

That little dump truck of yours is very maneuverable getting around the tight trails in your woods and climbing steep slopes with ease.
