I just found out about your channel and I'm binge watching all of your videos cuz there's just so much knowledge I am getting from you. I am glad I found out about you. You gained a new subscriber. Thanks!
I am about 2 months on Upwork, getting started was a dreadful and slow process, because clients don't hire newbies generally, but after two weeks and almost giving up I got hired! It was a 30 $ project and it was very successful, then the jobs started rolling in! getting great feedback and earning 1000 in a month. Then I got an hourly job, earning a lot of money in one project. The review was not the best, it was a 4,3 and he didn't recommend me. After that, I got my success rate it was 87% until now, it has been really difficult again to get clients. But It's better than when I started. Now I am in the process of getting better clients to raise my success score at least above 90%. Unfortunate I got one of those aggressive clients and she didn't like my price(very picky because she loved my service), she left a 4.8. that's my story as of now, I determined to make success on Upwork and that's why I found this youtube channel. Thanks for the amazing tips and insights into Upwork's system
@@reflectreflex7612 fun you ask, no I’m a graphic designer. It’s much better. I’m busy creating my own sales channels via social media and my website to get more customers outside Upwork. Most jobs i do now are at least 1200 per project and when i look back, I can’t believe i ever worked for 30€
Thank you Aleksander. This is a very informative video. In fact your whole channel is full of useful videos. I'm so happy I found you on RUclips. Can you make a video for someone who wants to start a new agency ?
I'm learning full stack development and I wanna be a freelancer... I wanted a video how to start at upwork and you just did that... Beautifully ...❤️❤️❤️👌
Aleksander, I read an article that said Upwork clients hate to work with agencies, so I wrote the idea off. Now you’re saying something different. I want to learn more about your ideas.
Here’s my experience so far with the platform: - An approved UpWork freelancer with a profile. - I’m a new freelancer without UpWork job history - Profile contains my professional background as a SQL Developer and SharePoint Developer and jobs performed. - Proposal submitted using techniques recommended by you. - Searched for jobs that clearly matched my skill level - Used the same language the client used in the job request. - Asked questions. - My proposal is the first and only submitted (at time of this thread). - The client has viewed the job at least once during the past 7 days. My proposal was submitted 7 days ago as well. - No invites. - No interviews. - No answered invites. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated. - PS - (1) Is it true that UpWork provide connects to either or both account types at the beginning of the month? (2) What are your comments regarding the algorithm returning connects if a client cancels or the job doesn’t make a selection in given period? Thanks for your comments. /r, Mike W.
FANTASTIC VIDEO! SO SO much good information here, THANK YOU so much sir! I do, however, have a few questions for you. 1. I want to do multiple jobs on upwork (transcribing, writing, and designing). Do I need separate accounts for each of these jobs? 2. How does payment work? Do I need to set up a paypal account? What payment method have you found to be easiest? 3. I've heard that Upwork takes out about 20% from each payment you receive from a client.. is this true? Again, THANK YOU for your help! I hope you have the time and willingness to respond to my questions soon! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi, in perspective of ranking your profile high through earning more money over the period of time. I want to ask a question that I created my account back in 2016, but didn't worked at that time. Now, recently I started working and earned a good amount in last two three months. So, being inactive for 4 years will effect my profile?

Don't let them bully you around just because they feel superior or psychotic. Cheaper clients tend to be more psycho btw, it gets better from here.
