    I just came across this, and this is one of the finest renditions of this tune I’ve heard. So excellent.

    How wonderful, do you have a video of good techniques to learn how to blow and vibrate so perfectly?

    Beautiful! If I may suggest other standards, it would be Round Midnight or anything by Monk, or Little Sunflower by Freddie Hubbard, or Footprints by Wayne Shorter. :)

    Magnifique ! (tongue blocking, or puckering, or may be both?)

    • @FilipJersMusic
      @FilipJersMusic  3 года назад +1

      Both! Sometimes both in the same phrase, haha... I started playing pucker but been adding tongue block the last years to the chromatic.

    Can you tell me what key you are playing this in? Thanks.

    • @FilipJersMusic
      @FilipJersMusic  4 дня назад +1

      C major! Usually it is in Db but Toots Thielemans did it in C so I'll stick to that.

    • @dennisferrell3662
      @dennisferrell3662 4 дня назад

      @@FilipJersMusicI wondered about that. In my copy of the Real Jazz Book it’s in C. But in my ancient copy of The Real Fake Book it’s in Db.
