The skill should count as both core AND basic. Cus you made in into a core from its passive and then use the weapon to make it a basic aswell as a core :)
It seems like the Gorilla Aspect got a bit of a nerf at launch, it is currently capped at 1500 weapon damage, so there's no need to stack more than ((1500 - ) / )).
they are both based on basic skill so many of items will be similar. but this one is better for pushing and quill feather is better for aoe/speeding ( both can push really high but touch scale better). thats why rob mention another build better than quill in his video and i bet the build he was talking about is this one

i would realy like a HC version for it that build looks amazing and already pretty tanky but maybe you can increase the tankiness a bit more i dont have to oneshot bosses in HC 2shot is enough XD

I've been sporting Wudijos Touch of Death Centipede Spiritborn Endgame Build but as I reach T3 with almost ancestral gear save for my gloves i've hit a wall. I can do T4 but not "coveniently". Might try this one.
Quill or death touch. I have watched both guides and have gear for either.. which has smoother play. I’m coming off a turbo evade (not coop friendly, but fun) on T3. I’m trying quill now but I kept getting popped in t3 :(

Se Ace non la usa non serve. Se non ne parla è inutile. È il theorycrafter per eccellenza e non credo che davvero serva accorpare i nemici se è la build con il più alto DPS single target di tutti. Semplicemente sciogli chiunque talmente veloce che tiri dritto senza pensare al numero

This is the problem not everyone wants to play Spirit born, but because it’s going to be the strongest build to push, you’re going to be forced to play it and blizzard will bullshit its numbers because of that reason saying that the new class was played so much yeah only because it’s the strongest

Streamers really need to stop saying pit 100 is the same as current pit 200 it’s not, not even remotely the same. It’s more like pit 130-140 if that. The only thing they have in common is that they’re the max tier available but in terms of difficulty they’re not even remotely similar.

They are from a closed server that had invitation only access for press and content creators and Diablo Partners. Rob showed it in the drop down menu of his battlenet launcher. It's called "Diablo IV Canopy" So all the footage from the new videos that have come out today from all the big content creators is not PTR footage. It is 2.0.1 patch footage on a private test client that nobody but these streamers had access to. And on this special test server with patch 2.0.1 on it, these streamers got the Spiritborn to hit for over 1 billion damage. No other class can do that right now. Not even close. Other classes cap out in the 50-100 million range. All of this info I got from rob's stream TODAY, and all of it was said by him on his stream AFTER the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) was lifted/expired, which happened at 9am PDT (3.5 hours ago as of the time of my comment here). Spiritborn literally hits 7 to 10x harder than every other class. That's the reality. Blizzard is insane. You're simply wrong bro.
As if there was ever doubt the new class and expanison seller was going to be top dawg. Only worry is during the recent livestream, the dev stated that they expect things to be broken and overtuned which will call for hotfixes/patches for extreme cases. I wonder if this will apply to Spiritborn? No way they nerf the class out the gate of S6 but I could see the mid-season patch nerf happening because by then, the majority of players will have bought the expansion.

Not the same. Necromancer as a class was a dlc, you bought the class directly. Meanwhile spiritborn comes with the expansion. Anyone who is actually playing Diablo 4 to any extent in which balance would come even near close to mattering is going to own the expansion and therefore have the option of playing spiritborn for themselves, with no extra fee.

Also armor conversion to weapon damage is capped out now at 1500. So having that much armor isn't gonna do any good anymore

In the build planner, you have two mistakes: in the gloves, there's a bonus to Core skills, and in the pants, there's a bonus to Basic skills.

Duration scales the explosion damage, the explosion is based on total damage ToD would have done.

The Kepele weapon makes it from core -> basic skill which in turn removes the cd
