This is legitimately how each class should be, each class should have between three and five different choices that are so close but yet so different in the place styles
But they all are 🤷 .. Is barb and druid pushing pit 150+ no .. Most normal gamers are not pushing high level pit, also torment 4 isn't really a end game either more so just to push builds, so in away all classes are viable unless your pushing 120+ pits and trust me not everyone is doing that lol. High level pits mainly just for bragging rights....
@@zaggyag9147 They definitely aren't lol, even in low torment tier other classes aren't as well scaled as SB, nerco is still a good runner up but when a class does 10x the damage as the class the is the closest to it, it becomes a problem , Either all classes should be able to hit trillions or none imo , not one class can do it but one other class can do it only with one build

I started this season like everyone else with a spiritborn (touch of death) build and it turned into mashing every button on my controller and not very exciting or challenging. Necro has always been my favorite class and i played a few last season while on the hunt for resplendent sparks. Shadow Wave was by far my favorite so i decided to try again this season and even at a low level with no mythics and a 1/16 fastblood, it's still been able to hold it's own and the challenge to time everything and group things together to maximize damage has been a pleasure. Currently, until i get a shako, I've been using the crown of Lucian and just casting decrepify to max out the damage since blood wave doesn't use resources.
After 2hours of spiritborn I changed back to sorc and my wife stopped playing .. mainly because it was unplayable on console (the Game itself)
It is like you say, spiritborn is for the challenged short hair persons
@@enricofriske1696 my wife plays with me as well on console and it's frustrating how many bugs there are with couch co-op. From not knowing how many burning aether we have 70% of the time, 30% of the time not even being able to complete the hoards because it didn't recognize the final kill, and now not even being able to do the new citadel, they really don't care at Blizzard. It's still our go to game but definitely frustrating.
@@TheOneAndOnlyDerp I'm following his but using crown of Lucian and rakonath's wake for the cool down. And fast blood on the amulet. Not as much damage as he is putting out but just cleared a 60 with only one glyph above 15. Key is using decrepify to proc the crown and then keeping essence up with the blood orb granting essence then alternating between wave and decrepify with a blight and tendrils thrown in when you need to ramp up the damage more. T3 is not bad. Needs more work before I take it to T4.

Hello, I am watching from Korea. I'm using the Dark Blood Wave build. The 95th floor video is on my channel. You have now reached floor 102. The structure is very good.
When you do play Eternal and had good Gear like 12/12 MW Shako und GF, you can unlock T4 - I did it with only new pants to enhance Soulrift Duration. With CDR on the Reapers and from Shako, you can almost have Soulrift active infinite. Did not thought, that T65 would be possible when they said it is going to be harder vs PTR. Luckily Minions and now also the Mythics got buffs (for me a whooping +77% HP, Barrier and fortify!) , although I have to say, the endgame base damage without Mendeln procs need to be much higher and things need to be fixed for Mendeln. Procs every 6th Hit instead of Attacks and Reinforcement or Druid Wolves resetting the 6th Attack counter.
As far as I know, YT Channel Jerycho made the highest Pit Clear with T97 having Golem procs of up to 5-8+ B and Mages for hundreds of M. Here it is including all - gear, skilltree, paragon boards, mercenaries used:

I would say, thorns minions for leveling (if you have legend temper and proper aspects for the season already), shadow blood wave once 60 to farm into bone spirit for higher pits.
i was looking for something to play after my minion necro, that i like a lot but need a change, i was thinking about bloodsurge, but i think you change my mind to Shadow Blood Wave !! this one seems really cool !!!

The skills list on the guide isn't put in properly. So I'm not sure what skills I should be using? without watching this video with at a glance images on the taskbar.
Edit, wasn't hard to see what one I was mising the guide just threw me off a little.
Edit again, lol. Personally, I think this could be a little better. Nercos rely on intel, and the gems will give us plenty of resistance to all elements, so putting those points in the paragon board doesn't make a lot of sense. So, I did some point shaving and found it more advantageous to put those extra points into dex/willpower, as some of the rare glyphs aren't activated because we're missing some of their attributes. Now I'm only Paragon 260 atm I can see a lot of points going toward max life or attributes as I can see.
Whaa!! Intelligence is everything! I use gems to 1 gem for will power and 2 green for critical damage. If I want a barrier which usually I don't I'll put a purple on armour. Diamonds for resistance I used to mix skulls in for armour but got a 91 p3rcent 4 out of 12 amulet. With it my armour is 2284 without 831
Just switched to blood surge, still need starless and perdition but it works fine with starlight/blood potent and concussive. Dropped feast until the mana issue is resolved.
Necromancer is feeling great this season, loving the variety of sweet builds!

Necro is the best class this season if you discredit the broken and SB which everyone is playing. I never thought that Nevro would make the Barb look like a joke. I hope they don’t nerf necro, instead they need to buff barb and druid and nerf spirit born to the ground.

Some more information from my experience: spiritwave builds are very controller unfriendly. If your game decides to aim at enemies next to the wall, then your waves will be cut short, you probably won't get the cooldown back. It's almost the same shenanigans with Fireball Sorc.
omega blood surge saved the season for me. I was so down after playing my horrible Barb. I didn't wanna play the cringeborn (thanks Perra Gaming for that amazing name lmao
Are you struggling with essence issues at all? Just switched over to this build and I'm having that issue. It's good when there are hordes of mobs in front of me, but if they are too dispersed I end up having to wait until for the cool down on the ultimate.
i've found that when your attack speed gets to be very high, you have to throttle back the attacks on single and small groups or you run dry
@@Christian-q5e if you don't have perfected gear, with high Ultimate cool down and Soulrift duration, that may happen. Especially if you're using the Feast aspect. So for a new guy, you can put Rathma's chosen aspect on the focus, then use Fastblood on ring. Also pick 3 points in Grim harvest in the skill tree. Get the points from something not so useful, like Reaper's pursuit. That should fix your essence problems for the start, until you work your way up to the final Build form as shown in the guide. PS: If you still have resource issues, maybe use a different runeword in one of the slots, like TamLum for res generation. And finally for less res spending, you can replace the Rathma's chosen aspect with something like Cadaverous. After that, work towards perfecting the build according to the guide.
@@Christian-q5e I’ve got GA Essence per second triple masterworked on my boots, it doesn’t 100% solve the issue but it comes very, very close
@@spindoggytheexplorer2915roll essence per second on chest and boots. also get chance on hit to restore primary ess affix on wep or ring. solved the problem for me even running great feast. u get armor capped resis capped with masterworked gear at 8/12 so frees up affix slots instead of going for int/life/armor affix.
Is Shako mandatory for Blood Wave to function as intended?
I don't think it's mandatory but highly recommend you don't use the build before getting it because it'll feel pretty slow. Shako is there mainly for the extra cooldown to ensure you can spam those bloodwaves as quick as possible

Necro plays amazing this season. Huge viable build variety and great feel of progression all the way from early leveling into high Torments and Pit pushing. Perfectly balanced class imho.
When I get around to making a necro I definitely want to try the shadow blood wave. I played blood suge last season and that was pretty fun.

Hello Goblin, thank you for releasing awesome content! I was playing a crushing hand spirit born but eventually got bored due to bugs and all and so now I am trying to decide if I should make a Bone Spirit Necro or a Spirit Wave Necro. Which build would you say is a better all-around build for pit pushing and speed farm?
I am doing a sever build with the new aspect and the soulrift ultimate. A mix between them. Using the unique helmet for soulrift and the unique boots to sever. Preety good and fun. My goal is to have 100% CDR on ultimate.
Unfortunately, the new aspect doesn’t work for “sever deals double damage” affix. I’d find different boots

What would you play for bosses and pit blood Wave or blood Spirit ?
I'm playing Spirit Wave and it's very good for bosses, with Blood Wave you have to do the playstyle of cast Blood Wave, run around and pick up blood orbs, cast again, repeat, whereas Spirit Wave automatically picks up all the blood orbs for insane healing and cdr while standing still. Ultimately a playstyle choice which you prefer

I loved this and watching it fills me with such motivation to go and try all these builds, then I remember that my Spiritborn can Evade through this content in a 10th of the time and I just lose all motivation to try anything else 🤦♂️
Do the spirit and blood wave builds have ways to use vulnerable?
I used to scoff at blood wave. Never seen it in action. Put it together (as best as I could) and went to an Uber boss. All I could say was holy #$%@. Thanks for this man. Tired of CringeBorn.
Mines basically sever necromancer but I've tweaked it hahe used 3 of 4 basic skill all good don't like bone spear core sever obviously, messed with blight a bit but meh to much essence, corpse explosion with tendrils I've messed with shadow and normal corpse explosion I like both but currently no darkness for points conserve, blood mist for evade and speed, curse with the aspects and I've used with iron maiden and decreify with affixes and aspects I like no essence for iron maiden and finally soul rift as ultimate for annihilation. Went with affliction over shadow blight even tho technically this is a shadow build haha but I like affliction more. Always have essence an escape root, sever just is awesome until I can soul rift and I got curses for just being around enemies. I'm currently messing with hemorrhage for a day now for blood orbs which fortify me and give me essence no good mythic yet besides the ring of skies i want the helm and armour 3 unique blood moon pants, greave boots and ring of sacrilege! Usually 2 handed weapon with lotus kinda dabbling with scythe and focus just for the extra aspect and it helps skill wise but not 2 handed sword damage, just takes a little longer that's all but my stats are stacked with tons of buff skills and it'll get better once I get the helm and armor mythic and a mix of all 3 damages high ( overpower, critical, vulnerable) no barrier for the most part I like fortify and I'm probably paragon 250 or so just gotta beat tier 3 level 65 faster I'm like 30 seconds off my last attempt. I love my build tho and I know it'll get better. Last thing this at season 1 was a minion build lol

I tried blood surge, power leveled a necro to 60 (with 220 paragon) but it was meh. I am guessing I did not have the rotation down right. Wasn't really clearing anything because was constantly OOM. It's got to be a skill rotation thing, right?
You sure you are talking about blood surge? You literally play it with 2 buttons haha seems pretty gear dependent though.
Blood surge works a charm, sounds like your soulrift cd is too long.
I tried Blood Surge after maining it last season, mana is a huge problem without Starlight aspect. Soulrift only fixes it in high pits and hordes basically, Ruse explains in another video but in speeds you lose the Great Feast aspect to get rid of mana drain

Where do you find out what builds are getting what level pit clears? I can't find that info anywhere!
Can someone help me understand how Golems factor into his minion build, given the raise Golem skill isn't on his skill bar nor in his skill tree, and we have golem mastery maxed and an aspect dedicated to Golem's equipped. I was told if no skill was equipped in your bar for Golem, they do no exist or contribute in any way... that you would have to assign Raise Skeleton *and* Raise Golem to your skill bar. Is that not the case?
You don't raise the Golem as it never dies. You need the actual Golem on your skill bar

Hey brand new player here got a rotting aspect item and have been running it sense lvl 20ish now lvl 53 is there any build you could think of that would work well for the aspect or should i just switch off been thinking about doing the minion build cause it looks similar to the playstyle that ive ended up in

I made the switch over to Blood wave and I am a little disappointed. The CD on bloodwave is too long without Harlequin. I got it down to 30 seconds, but I still found myself having to hunt down blood orbs to make sure I dont throw off the rotation. It is fun but the minion build was better.
Hard agree. Between the harlequin roll and the needed good roll on fastblood, that build is not easy to assemble

I think that’s the way to do it. Play SB to farm resources then switch to a good, challenging class.

Have to disagree, using golem with cd’s you can spam his attack and constantly have soulrift up. Easy 50b damage each golem slam.
Hey, posted this on the Bone Spirit build video, but I am confused about the paragon on the Bone Spirit build page. Amplify and Corporeal aren't buffing any nodes.. is the rest of the board accurate? Playing it currently and still feels decent even if the board isn't optimized. Thanks!
Additive damage is low value, the extra to magic nodes is low prio. Once you get everything else you can start to grab those nodes

Throwing in my comment to show support for non buggy-SB content.
However, my issue is that none of these builds interest me. Necro needs more skills. Bone armor, another usable curse (one that procs and or consumes vulnerability), an Enigma type of skill that repositions minions, a castable core skill that counts as summoning (think PoE's flaming skulls), etc.
I played Surge last season, and it was a one button build that was so boring. Blood mist is the sole utility skill for blood builds. They should add Hemomancy from Season 2 back in as a macabre skill, and add some vulnerability or CC to the enhanced skill nodes.
Bone spirit feels so clunky to play, maybe its a controller thing, but it just doesn't click for me. I want to spam it like i did in D2, but if it hasn't hit anything, the cooldown doesn't reset so I'm clicking away and nothing is happening
great ideas, a Convocation-type skill to pull minions to you especially inside suppressor shields is definitely needed. I don't know why they have such a hard-on for bone spirit, I think for 3 seasons straight they've been buffing it even as it's the strongest skill. I want Bombardier Necro back from season 3, Bone Spear + Corpse Explosion was so fun
No build should be rated even A tier if they can't clear 100 comfortably.
The way glyphs are designed, every class and build (somewhat optimised) should be able to do 100s.
Pushing beyond 105 should require 'specializations'. S tier builds should be the ones pushing top 10% of pits, which is no class but spiritborn atm.
Content creators need to stop pushing this dumb rhetoric
Well that's not a build issue, I'm sure many of these builds with max stats, glyphs + paragons can clear 100.
Every one of these builds has already cleared 100 and they're all capable of 105+
Hello, i am noob returning, asking for help pls.
I returned and the game gave me 3 options of "build", i clicked minions, it was fun, but felt weak after a while, so i looked up some builds.
Tryed that blood wave build, respeced my "Abilities" and now i feel like i need more dmg.
What i did wrong ? maybe i need better gear ? and where to grind it etc.
Help would be highjly apreciated guys, thank you in advance.

Necro should be benchmark for balance. Not only are most of his builds viable but you can also mix and combine and still slay T4.

I disagree, tried all these builds and they all suck. I have every uber in the game and spent billions of gold to get all the gear. I have either cooldown issues, or huge damage problems where damage is completely low. Takes forever to kill bosses.
