Man, I never would have thought about the intrensic design differences in the same level across three different yet ostensibly identical games by different developers.
For anyone wondering why Fortnite Festival has 600+ more notes than the other two, it's because of how Fortnite counts each note. Since it started as a tap/mania game before adding 5 Fret peripherals, they are actually counting each note in a chord as separate notes. So a two note chord counts as two notes hit, three note chords are counted as three notes hit. Guitar Hero counts a chord as one note hit, no matter how many notes are in the chord.
I really appreciate that Fortnite made the notes almost, if not _exactly_ identical to GH's placement, at least at the beginning of the song for CONTROLLER lead ("non-pro").
Guitar Hero starts harder than the others, but it keeps that difficulty throughout the whole song as Guitar Hero 3 starts of as easy as Fortnite Festival but gets harder at the end. Fortnite Festival just takes the easiest part of each version and mixes it together to make it's own version.
I know everyone is blinded by nostalgia for guitar hero 3 I am too but I truly think FNF is better or at least more truer to the song while guitar hero three stays true to the rhythm FNF is true to the song with how the notes are played I personally like all three
Guitar Hero 3's chart is a prototype unreleased chart, Guitar Hero Metallica was actually the one actually playable. It's kinda ironic that Metallica helped both but GH:M is a little less accurate. (FNF does suck at one part, though.)
@@Latias38 It's the fast part of the solo, they replaced it with descending triplets. GH:M as the "Wavy Pattern" that I forgot the actual GH term for it.
Ofc festival desyncs the audio from the chart constantly, i legit have to either play without audio or at max volume so i dont hear my strumming, because it never syncs to the music in festival, terrible engine.
They do varying on what platform you’re playing on. I’ve been able to use Xbox 360 guitars on PC using festival instrument mapper. There are also programs you can run to make Wii guitars work etc.
So on the beta build of GH3, much like GH2, they only have a “hyper speed on” or “off” setting. If you turn it on, it feels akin to something past HPS 5. It’s next to unplayable, so this was very much the easier route.

Fortnite doesn’t have 3 note chords
@@darknid158 yes it does
@@bday_dud8443 what chart then lol
@@darknid158Circles, Welcome to Paradise, Breed, Buddy Holly, Misery Business, Bring Me to Life
just to name a few
@@darknid158 you do know that there's an actual guitar mode for fnfest right? So, strumming, hopos, and 3 note chords are in the game
"Here it is! All of the existing official Master of Puppets charts in the 5 fret scene."
But... Guitar Hero Metallica though?
I’m playing it on GH Warriors of Rock but it’s just the exported chart from GHM. Same thing
@@NatResiSH Ah, understandable. Have a great day.
it's intriguing how much is shared between the gh3 beta and ghm charts, down to the very same note and sp phrase placement in some sections
The guy said he’s playing the ghm exported chart in gh3

That and harmonix doesn't believe in extended sustains on guitar
Honestly it's really surprising how much is shared between Festival and WoR

idk if it’s cos ur hyperspeeds are different but gh3 looks wayyy more overcharted
sometimes it looks like in GH3 chart they tried to mix two guitar tracks into one chart, lol
1:10 I wish festival kept it like metallica and just added an YB chord there instead. even then, i'd say it's the best of the 3.
Never understood why harmonix never added open notes and extended sustains in their games, its like they stuck in the past
back to triple + blured bg
WOR is like a watered down version of LOR

Since when did Fortnite have rythm game, I haven’t played since chapter 2
The WOR chart makes the most sense
You missed putting the guitar hero Metallica one 🥲

legends of rock is by far the most accurate to the guitar version
Curious if Fortnite Festival is compatible with those old Guitar Hero and Rock Band controllers.

It changed... you no longer need an external tool atleast on pc. You can just go in the settings tab and bind your buttons there
gh3 the original, world tour changed little and fortnite festival copied the task and changed some things
Él guitar hero warrios of Rock, por la velocidad en que van las notas, parece que esta en la velocidad 3 y él gh3 esta en la 0
When did GH3 have MOP? Is it DLC!?
It’s not dlc. It was found in a leaked beta build for the game.
WOR the only correct chart speed. Anything slower I don’t want it
Hmm, GH3 looks way more difficult. Theirs hardly any hammer ons or pull offs.
I hate how Fortnite is scared of doing sustains in the song where needed & how they don't do triple chords
They absolutely do triple chords. Harmonix has never been crazy about sustains though
