The emote song is in Festival now! I'm so happy this song is in the game, even before the purported Metallica season. This is now the longest and hardest song in the game, made especially hard with the current engine's lack of fret-after-strumming leniency (which is slated to be fixed with Season 4), and I'm so glad I was able to get this done before the fix. You have a week to FC this and have the bragging rights for eternity.
The chart is pretty good! The solo is fun, though a bit slower in some places than I anticipated. The verses and choruses are engaging and fun, I like how they used HOPOs to accentuate strums. Top tier shit, go buy it tonight in the shop with code AWISEMOOSE

I know my plastic guitar is generic and all but man, there are some parts of this song that I can get with no problem in other games' charts, and that I can even play on a real guitar. But in Fortnite I can barely get a 10 notes streak. I don't know if it's the problem mentioned in the description that is going to be fixed but I hope they do it soon. I hate this game so much (been playing for 6 years).

just wondering, have you tried playing again? if you were having issues with alternating your strumming (up down up down patterns) they fixed this pretty recently. Now the plastic guitar controllers actually feel great to use. worth giving it a shot again if you havent already!
Feels like one step closer to getting herald of darkness from Alan Wake 2 as a jam track. The music video for the song is 9 minutes, could be reasonable to actually come to the game, since we have this 8 minute song now in game. Herald of darkness full complete version is 30 minutes of a journey like no other, an amazing song, from amazing game. Obviously they couldn’t have that version for many of reasons. I love herald of darkness and this song gives me little bit of herald of darkness vibes, just a little. They are many versions of this song, I prefer to listen to the 13 minutes version of herald of darkness :3

Do you have any tips for someone who’s super new to the guitar layout? I’ve been playing Festival primarily on keyboard and got myself a guitar controller that I’ve to get adapters for, but I found myself having trouble attempting the Pro variants on just keyboard thus far. A question , been playing a lot of festival recently. You can't restart the song if you miss , you have to get back to the lobby and then chose the song again , is that it?
Correct, they removed the restart button because it was causing a lot of issues with the game. You just need to leave the song and go backstage and reselect the song again
