Beat devil went down to Georgia with relative ease. Through the fire and the flames and Jordan are the only 2 songs I never managed to beat in the first 4 gh games. I guess it comes down to what techniques you're comfortable with.
I used to be so good at those games . Tried last month and absolutely sucked.

The hardest one to 5 star for me was Before I Forget on Expert. That bridge section with the alternating chords was seriously the toughest thing in any of the games for me. Granted, GH3 was the first game I played so I was still getting used to it, but I was definitely a guitar hero nerd back in its heyday. Played every single game and 5 stared all the songs on expert. Before I forget is still the one that I spent the most time trying to figure out. My hand still cramps just watching the video again haha.

@@SniperFallen06 Yes to all but Ties That Bind, don't get me wrong it's not an easy song and Alter bridge rock more than any band on the planet imo, but there are way harder songs than it (aka Nemesis, Black Widow of La Porte, Holy Wars... The Punishment Due and If You Want Peace... Prepare For War and more.

Well obviously they are all way harder than Hangar 18 and Surfing with the Alien since those lag way behind everything else here, but once you add Sudden Death and Holy Wars none of the others quite outpace One just because when you're in the skill range where whether you can pass any of these is an open question, Fast Solo A will kill you 99/100 times.

Honestly, mate, I always click on "top 10" videos expecting to be flat out disappointed. But not only you and I are on the same page about the top four (especially about Jordan), but you also addressed the one issue I have regarding having to play Jordan, which is the GH2 engine. 👍👍👍
Literally the only song on this list I *never* managed to pass, and I played all the GH songs on both the guitar *AND* the PS2 controller *until it was possible* (which was from GH to GH3, because from GH:WT on, the controller would only set mic options, so I was forced to purchase a guitar to continue playing the later titles).

TTFAF is definitely harder than DWDTG. That tapping intro is just death unless you're perfect. So easy to miss one note and fail seconds later.
FWIW, I 3-starred Devil. Never beat TTFAF on GH3 (Smash Hits version was much easier)

A bit late but that fury of the storm is outdated af and the one that comes to mind for me is the warriors of rock chart, which includes trills instead of ascending trips. Hope that helped!

I can honestly say that I’ve beaten all these songs. Some of these are a piece of cake but others like Jordan are actually pretty hard. Anyone who says that all these songs are easy are lying to themselves.

I really just looked up guitar hero and came across TSP again... missed ya man.
You'll discover that sometimes it's a different question about which ones are hardest to 5 star vs ones that are hardest to pass. For example, Jordan in guitar hero 2 was pretty easy to 5 star so long as you just passed the solo, but my god that solo holy hell buckethead wtf. Through the fire and flames however can be more consistently passed once you get the hang of it but it took me months and months to 5 star it.

I picked surfing with the alien while in an arcade at the theater. I built up a little crowd while my little 15 yr old fingers were shredding.. I remember the needle was so close to a fail but I popped my star power just in time to save me. Highlight of my guitar hero career.

I totally agree with this top 10, but not necessarily the order. I completed Jordan waaaayyy before TTFAF. And then 98% it before as well. Personal opinion but I think Jordan is easier. EDIT: Just taking into consideration that you’re right. The GH3 engine was a lot easier. Meaning that TTFAF on GH2 would have been hell. Absolute HELL!!! Trogdor, due to the GH2 engine was probably the hardest to consistently FC! Imoh. At least on GH2 (Xbox and PS2) you could FC Jordan. On PS2 you need something like SwapMagic to FC Trogdor! I’m from England so I had the PAL version. Still extremely hard!
