Thanks so much, I’m glad you liked the video. I agree it is a great sport. The participants are always very willing to help newcomers. Thales care and thanks for watching the video.
That is certainly a unique hold. I have a Primary Arms scope I occasionally use on mine but 357 Max has significant recoil. I'm considering using an SSK Fast Recoil Compensator to tame it.
great set-up. i never really got a chance for silhouette competition shooting, so it was interesting to learn more about it. i sold my only Thompson Contender to my older brother years and years ago. it was in 44 mag. i thought I'd get more barrels and hunt with it more, but found i hunted with my revolvers more. so i sold it. I shouldn't have, but eh, ya know how it is. have a good day there. little cooler these coming days.
Thanks for sharing about your contender. I know the feeling, I had one in .223 set up with a scope and a 16” barrel and a synthetic stock. It was very handy, I sold it but regret that decision. Hope you have a great day and thank you for watching.
That was a very interesting video I never knew much about silhouette shooting so I learned something. The trigger on that gun is insane. Awesome video and I hope you are having a great weekend.
Thanks Chris that means a lot especially coming from you being the competitive shooter you are. I used to shoot large and small bore rifle as well. This was all before my son was born 20+ years ago. I had a lot more free time then. Yes the triggers on Contender’s can be amazing. I was lucky and got in with a great group of experienced guys who shared there knowledge with me. Sadly some have passed now. One had a private range with a full set of rifle and pistol silhouette targets. My buddy and I would go to shoot with him almost every weekend. Thanks for watching my friend.
Never heard of that competition...sounds like a ton of fun. That certainly is an interesting pistol, I like the way it loads. I'll have the first video in my 10 guns series uploaded today
@@firearmsaddictloveguns Covid? Oh man sorry to hear that. I was diagnosed with it last year, but had zero symptoms. Either it was a false positive or I'm asymptomatic
Shoot NRA HP for years. Great sport and people. Must get back onto it. Very good video. Thanks

Excellent Video. The first time I hear about silhouette shooting. Never encountered a handgun like this one. Thanks for sharing. Have a great ay
Thanks my friend, it’s a fun yet challenging sport.
Fun challenge! 👏🔥Maybe when I get 10 of my own, I’ll be able to participate in the future 😂😂☺️☺️
You should participate with whatever you have. Even if it’s just one gun. It makes for a great way to share. Thanks for watching. 🙂
The TC is an awesome little shooter. Nice setup buddy! Thumbs up video ~John
Thanks John, it really prints outstanding groups from the bench. Other then sighing it in and testing ammo. I typically only shoot it off hand.
congratulations for the channel !
Thank you

Sweet about your video. I’ve been battling Covid and am behind on mine. I’m glad you like the pistol.

Thanks hopefully your immune. This was my second go around. Had it in October of 2020. This time it wasn’t quite as bad as the first.
Nice I have owned a couple TC's over the years
Thanks, they are cool firearms.
Great looking pistol I bet it will reach way out there
Probably will but the bullet drops significantly out to 100 yards.
🤠👍👍👍👍👍
Very cool! Good shooting!
Thanks Marc, it’s a tough yet challenging sport.
This was cool
Thanks Scott, hope you’re doing well.
Very nice
Thank you
If you're right handed, maybe you should use a right handed grip
I modified this grip to fit perfectly for silhouette shooting. It fits perfectly and my scores were very good. I appreciate you watching.
