Deciding on pipe beveling machines in HD

- If your ever going to weld in the pipe industry you will need to purchase some Bevel machines. Here is a break down of the 2-4 mathey dearman, HM, and the sawyer Bevel machines. The pros and cons to me and why I purchased the mathey bevelers. It the pipeline industry or pipe fabrication you will need to have the equipment to make precise cuts and make your job faster and more efficient.
H&M offers a short saddle option in 4-8 inch. Also, H&M is a small company with personalized customer service, and outside of the anodizing or snapping it in half their machines are 100% repairable. Bend the saddle on a Mathey and it becomes a very expensive paperweight.

Mathey is the only way to go!! Short saddle and a better torch carrier and better aluminum in their build all around

funniest thing you'll ever see is a green helper that's never seen an hm beveler.get the dogs all messed up.all b.s. aside go with the mathey that short saddle will save the day at some point take my word been in the biz for 20 years.but to be honest in the 2-4 range machines the hm cuts alot smoother for me especially on light wall 2".

So I got 2 beveling machines from my dad. The 1sa mathey dearman 3"-8" and I'm missing some dogs. Can you give me a measurement for the length of each of the dogs? I'm sure I can figure it out by doing some math but I want to get them exact, (probably will just make them myself). Oh and where can I find a handle to turn the beveler for the 2"-4". When I pulled them out of my suitcase the handle was broken. Fuckers just throw shit around
