Stop focusing on arbitrary nonsense like the hospitality VAT rate, and focus on the fact the Fine Gael have consistently misspent, continued the privatisation of public funds, and haven't done a thing to solve the housing crisis. The latter includes still enabling bulk / institutional buying of homes for letting and investment - perpetuating this perhaps for the landlords in their own party - and missing every target in the development of new "affordable" homes for people. The €30K FTB grant is also so incredibly poorly structured with its hard cut off and conditions on the types of home, it has essentially increased the price of new housing instead of reducing the overall impact on the buyer (again, moving public funds - i.e. €30K - to private), and this increase bleeds into the overall inflation of second hand homes also.
Fiscally and strategically inept, not to mention self-interested and apathetic towards the people of Ireland and their daily struggles. I don't care if Sinn Fein have flaws, it's time to give someone else a go instead of the same old depressing cycle we have with FFFG, and the abject, aloof and abhorrent imbeciles in the Green Party.

Ireland does not have a real economy, as David McWilliams said, on Ireland's total dependency on foreign multinationals "Ireland is Albania without the sunshine" there is nothing wrong with Albania and there was nothing wrong when Ireland lived within it's means, when people could actually afford to buy a home, not this ridiculous smoke and mirrors economy that gives the illusion that Ireland is a 700 billion economy😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and yet the idea is continuously going around the world. The IDA is now going around the world begging companies especially China to invest in Ireland bringing in more migrants and more refugees, as the Green Party Minister said at the weekend "Ireland is a rich country and we have an obligation to look after the people of the world.

It’s incredibly unfair that single people are hit with a higher tax burden just because they don’t have a partner. Think about it-married couples get all these tax breaks and benefits, while a single person making the same income pays more, often struggling with the same living costs.
In today’s world, where everyone talks about equality, diversity, and inclusion, why is it that we ignore the tax inequality between singles and married couples? Some people are single by choice, and others due to circumstances beyond their control. Either way, why should they be punished for it? If we care about true fairness, this gap needs to be addressed. Single people deserve the same financial fairness as everyone else.

*I fundamentally like Mr. Harris but he really needs to cop on to the fact that a 13.5 VAT rate within the Hospitality Industry will be hugely damaging. Going to a restaurant or for a hotel break in Ireland is a punitive exercise and a luxury for a majority of working-class people. Add minimum wages to increased energy costs plus all the additional expenses and many are doomed to failure as is currently being witnessed. Mr Harris's tenure in office will be short-lived if he fails to address this issue.*
