- On our trip in Vietnam, we made the first stop in Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in the country. We expected a traditional city, many straw hats and other clichés you see in movies. On the spot, however, we found a lively, flashy and very modern big city that visibly surprised us.

Banh Mi 60K? what a rip off! Most places sell for only 25K -35K. Vegan banh mi usually tasteless.
We show always the prices we payed, incl. drinks like in this case. With that people know how much to expect for a restaurant visit.
HCM is a CITY not "town". It's the biggest city of the country.
We know that, it‘s also called HCM City. But we are relatively relaxed about the word usage. 😎
