Trailers with "elecbrakes" (tm) or other wifi (trailer side controller) brake controller only needs a brakelight line signal to activate (app on phone sets limits and it works regardless of tow vehicle brake controller presence or not, great for hire trailers.) - add in; switches for reverse, parking and L/R flashers and the dolly can test all the trailer lights as well.
Great setup! When I was about 5 years old I was almost run over by a small box trailer (which my mom had told me not to mess with!). When I got my teardrop trailer I was a little paranoid about it getting away from me. Putting it into my narrow garage, at the bottom of a slope was especially dicey! I thought about doing something similar, but built a larger garage, instead! 😂 Thanks for all the great DIY ideas!
Like it, I do! I was just looking at one of those, without the breaks at Rack Attack, in Victoria yesterday. My little GeoPro 12RK, is parked at home on my driveway, but I’ve had to move it, just a bit a few times. Hooking it up, onto my car, can be a hassle just to move it a few metres. So with this video, you may of inspired me, into my next little project! Play carefully, & smile often!
Thank you for watching Sir. If you click on the description then click on the more, it will take you to the product links. The manual controller is the first item listed. 32.99 on Amazon.
This is over the top. You did a fantastic job. I hope lots of people make this and find that it’s as handy and helpful as you do Sam.

You're killin' it, Sam - just killin' it! 🤯
Thanks Tom!
That is just nothing short of amazing Sam! Super handy, and great for testing the brakes, your wiring, etc.
Thank you for watching Julie!

That is a genius idea and actually looks pretty easy to make. Great job!😊
Another great mod Sam! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you sir.
I agree with the previous comment. You really should think about patenting that
Hi Sam, this is a great idea. I have the parts on order. I was wondering if you have the wiring diagram for this set up. Thx!
I don't have one drawn up but drop us am email and I can scribble something down for you.
Hello, I am also curious about the wiring. I am considering running the power from the brake controller directly to my 12v battery. Is this possible?
So smart!
Great! Where did you buy the controller? I don’t see a manual break controller on Amazon

I got a snow blower to move my trailers
