Great video! thanks. We still have the Big Foot camper you guys showed us from Southland in one of your videos. We appreciate y’all taking the time to make your videos. It’s got to be a lot of extra work. Stay safe and Roll Tide!
Great video. That is exactly the hitch set up I had with my truck camper and dodge truck. Worked perfectly. I would love to have the supertruss and superhitch from torklift but holly cow they are expensive! I never pull anything too big to need the supertruss / hitch either. Thanks for the video, always nice to have ones ideas validated👍😁
I’ve got the 20k and they make a 30k also but I won’t be pulling anything close to 30k and the 20k is nice and you don’t even know it’s back there. The truss hitch is a big plus.
We bought our Truck 2008 GMC 3500 dually/camper 2007 Lance 992 in September and it came with the hitch extension. The fellow that had it towed a small fishing boat. Don’t know if we ever will tow a trailer behind the camper but it’s nice to know we have the setup in case we do.
Hey y'all it's been awhile since I've been on my phone good to see y'all out again. I don't get on the phone very much anymore. My wife is getting worse and I spend more time with her than on the phone. Y'all have fun out there. Have a great day and stay safe please!
Great setup and thanks for the information. I have a 975 on order and I will be running a similar set up. We love Windrock park. You guys need to upgrade to a UTV lol.
Hi Nathan Smith, Congrats on your new Lance 975! I hope you love it as much as we do ours. We love Windrock it's just so big with so many different types of trails. We may get a SXS/UTV sometime but for now we're enjoying riding the four wheelers. Thanks for watching!
I've done that same setup with chains. So far it sucks. I did pay a guy to make me a u bolt mount to take the 'up/down' out. Hope that makes a difference
We're getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2021 Northern Lite 10-2. I'll be putting it on a 2020 Ram 3500 DRW. I was wonder if you had made any suspension modifications on your DRW. I know you added Trimbrens to your old SRW. I'd like to get my truck set up before I take delivery of the camper. Definately going with Fastguns.. Love your cahnnel. More TC stuff please!
Yes please! I'm also getting a 10-2 with a 2019 Ram 3500 DRW. I put on a Hellwig sway bar and TL's Stabiloads...just wondering if we should get bags for leveling....probably overkill but I really don't want much sag in the rear of the truck.
Hi Brian,. I haven't added any suspension work to my truck but it does have the factory air bags on it. I am planning on adding a rear sway bar. My truck does not have the factory overload springs since it has the air bags. If I had the standard spring pack with overload springs I would probably get the stable loads to put on the springs first. You can't go wrong adding air bags and a sway bar as well in my opinion. Love my air bags. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the reply. Put a deposit on our new 2021 NL 10-2 today. I'll get the stable loads ordered. Talked to a guy today who said stable loads + timbrens should be all I need for the NL. We'll see...
Yes, they are! They had the loops priced wrong but have now corrected the pricing on Amazon. I like the ratchet straps because they make it so much easier for me to use them. ~Carla
What hitch extender are you using? I have a similar need to haul a UTV and a motorcycle on a tandem trailer behind my Ram 3500 SRW with a Northstar TC. Was looking at the Torklift super truss hitch and receiver but couldn’t believe the cost. Looks like good stuff but more than I need and pricey! Just found it on your info. Thanks! Your videos are some of my favorites! Great job!
Thank you, Both of you are Awesome for taking the time to share your experiences with us. The Lance Camper looks perfect but I'm not a little guy, how is it climbing into that bed?
I fell in love with the Froli system. Did you move it to the Lance? We have a 95' Lance 3000 and put money down on 2000 Bigfoot 30C 10.3 Camper... We fell in love with the open floor plan.... Tell me about the froli.....Your friends in UTAH!
Great info . That extention hitch is a little scary , I'd say the chains are very much warranted . This is an older video but if you see this can you tell me how you check your tongue weight on the trailer ? Thanks much . Safe Travels !
Nice set up I'm about 35 miles south of wind rock park haven't been there yet I need a bigger truck for a truck camper & to pull my boat with a Ford explorer sport track dont cut it let me know what ya thought about the park
Y F250/diesel/truck camper...I'm from Michigan and Alaska... long trips.. question on hitch extension...it must be the weight distribution hitch takes alot of weight off the toung
Thank you for ur video brother, I just bought a Lance 1161 n put it on my Ford 7.3 dually I wanted to drag a closed car hauler with 2 harleys or 1 vette. SHES NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IS IT?.! The camper tips out around 4000 lbs loaded n truck is only good for 4600lbs so that don't leave me with much tongue weight. Maybe a open aluminum car hauler I mite get away with it. Lucky I saw this or I'd b having a car hauler sitting in my drive way DOING NOTHING!...😮🥳😎✌🇨🇦
Hey V Twin Power, It sounds like you have the right idea as far as watching your payload and trailer weights. Just try to keep them all in check and you might want to look into a SuperTruss hitch extension to support the weight of a car hauler. The SuperTruss will support much more weight than a single hitch extension. Just something to think about. Thanks for watching ~ Todd
Are you sure your extension is a 2.5" I would thing it's a 3" like mine. If it's 2.5" then it can only be made of 1/8" inch thick metal witch sounds to thin.
Hi Tiko Lamb, Our drawer does come all the way out with the trailer hooked up. The step does not fold down though. We could just step on the trailer and slide out drawer to get in. Thanks for watching!

I think Strapinno should send you another complimentary set for doing such a great review! You've convinced me to look into getting these.
Better to be safe than sorry, happy wife happy life Good job dude.
Good looking rig. Thanks for your informative tour. I run 2001 F350 6 Spd 4x4 dually with 2003 Lance 1010.
I agree with caution to safety. I carry two spares also and have used them both
Good stuff guys! Those ratchet straps are nice, also I'll have to look into those distribution hitches for my setup.
Great video! thanks. We still have the Big Foot camper you guys showed us from Southland in one of your videos. We appreciate y’all taking the time to make your videos. It’s got to be a lot of extra work. Stay safe and Roll Tide!
Hi Greg, Thanks for the nice comments. Carla and I love Bigfoot campers! We hope you're enjoying yours. Thanks for watching! ~ Todd
Nice setup. Its WAY better to have and not need than need an not have !!!!!!! As I say do it the right way the1st time or do it 8 times. 😊😊
Great video. That is exactly the hitch set up I had with my truck camper and dodge truck. Worked perfectly. Can't wait to see your Lance in person!
A lot of good info great video y’all

Love your videos. Just bought the same truck as you, 2010, have bought a used lance camper 990.
Hey Lee, That sounds awesome, I hope you get lots of fun camping in this year. Thanks for watching!
Very informative. Appreciate your extra margin for safety! Another great video!!!
Hey Dean,. We hope you Laura are doing well. Good to hear from you. Thanks for the nice comments. Safe travels out there.
Most helpful video iv seen in a long time. Going to look at new camper tomorrow and you just checked off every question I had. Thanks.

Cool setup.
What a amazing set-up! Very nice 👍
The straps are pretty sweet would be interested in see how they hold up long term with dirt and grim......also easy of cleaning
Royal blue is my favorite! Your close so check it out!
We've been there a couple time and really like Royal Blue. I'm working on a video from a recent trip there. Thanks for watching!
Great video. The straps are a must per Duane. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks Deanna, hope y'all had a happy and blessed Thanksgiving too! 💕. Agreed, those straps are amazing!
Good review

Wow they are proud of their soft loop tie down straps. 4 at 1500 WLL for $99. Ive not priced others, but am guessing $99 is HIGH....
Thanks for pointing that out. I have contacted them and they have corrected the price on them. That was a mistake 😁👍
Very helpful info. Thx
Those straps are awesome. I hate ratchet straps you're always messing with each one for a few mins, so those are some great time savers!
Yes, they are! They had the loops priced wrong but have now corrected the pricing on Amazon. I like the ratchet straps because they make it so much easier for me to use them. ~Carla
Great video. Subbed 👍🏾

I wonder if I could get into that camper pretty easy? The wife says, "nope, our days of camping is over!" She might be right.

Could you show the hitch extension on your flatbed
Great info . That extention hitch is a little scary , I'd say the chains are very much warranted . This is an older video but if you see this can you tell me how you check your tongue weight on the trailer ? Thanks much . Safe Travels !
Hi WH,. I have a trailer tongue weight scale I use to make sure I'm not too heavy. Thanks for watching!
Nice set up I'm about 35 miles south of wind rock park haven't been there yet I need a bigger truck for a truck camper & to pull my boat with a Ford explorer sport track dont cut it let me know what ya thought about the park

@@RunawayRoses yes I saw that Lance makes a super hitch n my truck is going in Tuesday for some air bags. MERRY XMAS TO U N FAMILY!✌
Are you sure your extension is a 2.5" I would thing it's a 3" like mine. If it's 2.5" then it can only be made of 1/8" inch thick metal witch sounds to thin.
Big question?
Do you run air bags and cheater springs ?
Why not everything 2 1/2 so it didn't have to be necked down and the shim used?
Can you tell me what your tongue weight capacity is on this setup?
Where did you buy those mounts??
Got them on etrailer.com. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info! Question: does the drawer in your ultra deck bumper slide out all the way when the trailer is hooked up ?
Hi Tiko Lamb, Our drawer does come all the way out with the trailer hooked up. The step does not fold down though. We could just step on the trailer and slide out drawer to get in. Thanks for watching!
@@RunawayRoses Good deal, thanks!
Is that a Lance 975 .
Yes that was our 2021 Lance 975. It was a great camper. Thanks for watching!
Why not just get a toy hauler?
