IELTS or Ecctis (UKVI) English language proficiency statement which is mandatory,

If your degree was in English medium, you can obtain a Medium of Instruction certificate from your respective university and then apply for a Language Proficiency Certificate through Ecctis. This is sufficient for the Skilled Worker Tier-2 visa category, and there is no need for IELTS.
