I have asked my son who has done few years of his schooling abroad(when my hubby was working overseas) and now done his engineering degree in Chennai to go again to some foreign country for higher studies. He didn't seem to show much interest. Instead wrote his CAT and XAT here and got through the exam with decent marks but not good enough for tier 1(IIMs&XLRI) or tier 2 colleges. But ended up doing well in interview in one of the decent B school. And now finally without second thought placed him there. Now after seeing this video, i realize that i don't have to regret my decision.

yes, it is tough for first few years but if you could manage the initial years and get permanent residency, it is worth.. if you want to settle in europe , start in your early 20s, the more you delay is more tough for you, i stayed in the EU and the UK for more than 3 years.. this is from my personal experience..

Yes whatever said in this video is true.
I too undergone the same situation when studied in london in the year 2009 - 2010 in university of greenwich london.
I completed my studies in june 2010. During my studies i worked in morleys chicken shop in greenwich as a part time for 3 pound an hour ( cash in hand job ) , though the minimum wages for an hour was 6.5 pound an hour.
After my studies, i switched over to PSW visa for 2 years.
I got a general assistant night shift job in Sainsbury supermarket walthamstow
during 2011 dec, christmas period for 8.3 pound an hour.
I worked 60 hours a week and sent back money to india to repay my loan amount of 8 lakh rupees.
During my PSW Visa, i worked full time in Sainsbury's and finished my loan and earned some money and returned to india by sept 2012.
My advice is that, it's better to come to uk through onsite which the IT cmpany will send you to uk on deputation.

As a Londoner for more than a decade ( Naanum Erode than).
If you are coming as a student, pick your course. More than 90% of course do not fetch you job. I have seen many students take a part time job as money making opportunity and miss the studies.
Think long term , make a clear plan and act accordingly.Do not take huge loans blindly just for a sake of coming and working in part time jobs. On a positive note, exposure and lesson ( yes, costly experience) will help you to live a positive life when you go back.

Bro you missed another important thing.. current market skills. I'm working in Chennai as an HR recruiter in a consultancy and we got a few big companies as our client. One of the senior HRs from a big company came to our office for a session and shared how companies are struggling to hire 1 skilled employee and to retain them at least for a year.. He also shared that today's students aren't ready to upgrade themselves and looking only for money and failing to understand that only upgrading ourselves will take us to a good position and help us earn a good salary... In today's world college degree alone won't help us to get into a job we need to learn the current market skills to get into a job apart from this we need to possess some level of soft skills too... And also most of the companies in today's world are looking for a person who has a curiosity to learn new things...

The problem is most of them come here just to earn money and don’t see the bigger picture. TBH getting a job to get some money is feasible, but if you want to prolong here then it will be way too hard that what you expect. It is not unrealistic but just too hard. I came here in 2020 and I never had a mindset to just earn money. I concentrated on building up knowledge and taking my time to understand the market over here which helped me at the end of the day.
A hard truth is you need to know what you are doing here and you need to be really good if you want to get a serious job over here. Those who are planning to come here needs to be in the top 5 out of 10 back in India and you got lot of chances to survive here.

First: Try to be independent and equip yourself to be self dependent. Food preparation, Cloth washing, maintenance
Second: Have some technical qualification and certification. Plumbing, electrical, construction, driving etc. Seasonal and on demand business gives you good salary.
    Third: Good communication skills.
Fourth: Befriendly and jovial. Do not hesitate to seek help from others. Be open minded.
Fifth: Physical work is much needed.
Most Important: Spend time with solo elders there.

Honestly do not understand if student community and universities are of different categories / bands in Uk . My child and lot of peers from Singapore have got into top notch Uni in UK purely based on merit and their IB / IGCSE marks , no agent , directly using UCAS application method and are studying main steam courses in STEM . Please clarify what course / Uni are the students who come through agents come for and why people come to work instead of study on student visa . Education quality in UK is unparalleled especially UG when compared to other countries if you get into proper university and are going to Uk to really to study and gain knowledge.

The answer for the 'are going to UK to really to study and gain knowledge' is in your or your spouse's or parents immigration to Singapore. no one from India is going to Singapore to serve for free or gaining knowledge

Indian's English is not peer to UK's GSCE hence y they are tested for IELTS, low ranked universities even accepts Band 5 for PG. With Band of 5 or 6 it will yield a poor academical output.
They don't even know how to fill up the UCAS application. They are not so independent, dumb fools always depend on someone else. Aaanal vaai mattum ettoor kiliyum. They don't need any agencies if they do proper homework they can do it on their own. Many Malaysian and Singaporean Int students that I have acquainted never gone through any agencies. Indians are so lazy expecting spoon feedings. Just look at the video, one guy claims that sapitta tatta kooda edukka maataaram dorai, with such attitude and behaviour wherever you go throughout the world..honestly nakkikittu thaan poganam.
I have seen many students being penalised not able to write a technical report. Quiet frequently being caught and expelled for plagiarism, despite of being warned times and times not to copy paste from net resources.
In India I have not heard of anything about similarity detection processes for any academical intellectual submissions. But In UK specifically all Higher Education institutes utilises Turnitin software to detect plagiarism, after Covid there are no hardcopy submission or dual submissions accepted only online softcopy submissions allowed. In India students use to the culture of copying and resubmitting the existing submissions of the previous years, hardly within a span of 10yrs they changed the assignment titles in Indian institutes.
And they don't even know how to substantiate a claim with valid, legit, credible and academically published citations or references, or empirical approach. I was surprised an IIT and Annamalai University exhibits these qualities.
Not even a single university from India peer to the lowest ranked University in the UK. Antha latchanthula irukuthu Indian education.
Even the tiny-winy country Singapore's Nanyang Ins comes under top 100 uni out of 30k/40k uni throughout the world.
UK's education quality is one among the finest in the world.

There isn't any fraudulent universities in the UK.
Most lecturers of Oxford and Imperial Uni that I have met were from the bottom ranked universities.
All universities are govern by multiple bodies; Department of Education, Local Govt Authority-Council, The Office of Students, Board of Governors of Higher Education Institution, independent Education Governing bodies, University Chairs and field/faculty specialism related academical/technical professional bodies. Royal College and Societies. It is periodically inspected.
UK Student Union also governs and being an active watchdogs.
It is not alike in India, hence please keep you ignorance to yourself.
It is the agency in India need to be blamed for and secondly Indians attitude need to be blamed for.
Mudhala unga nokkam enna UK'ku padikka vareenganaa UK university'la apply pannunga otherwise don't waste your time.
