Very informative 👏 👌 👍 We need to know the reality. Hope this video is useful for Indian youth who thinks about studying in London. Thank you for sharing the real situation.
Good Informative Video! Reality Check for Young people who would like to come here for studies! I was a student, I can turn back the pages and see how it was. Not Easy Makkalae!! People who have shared their views on this video are genuine. If you have some support or contacts here in abroad, you can get lot of ideas. Even if you have completed studies, it is always a challenge in living in Abroad :-) Survive!!!! Thanks London Tamil bro!

yes, it is tough for first few years but if you could manage the initial years and get permanent residency, it is worth.. if you want to settle in europe , start in your early 20s, the more you delay is more tough for you, i stayed in the EU and the UK for more than 3 years.. this is from my personal experience..
I have asked my son who has done few years of his schooling abroad(when my hubby was working overseas) and now done his engineering degree in Chennai to go again to some foreign country for higher studies. He didn't seem to show much interest. Instead wrote his CAT and XAT here and got through the exam with decent marks but not good enough for tier 1(IIMs&XLRI) or tier 2 colleges. But ended up doing well in interview in one of the decent B school. And now finally without second thought placed him there. Now after seeing this video, i realize that i don't have to regret my decision.

Yes whatever said in this video is true. I too undergone the same situation when studied in london in the year 2009 - 2010 in university of greenwich london. I completed my studies in june 2010. During my studies i worked in morleys chicken shop in greenwich as a part time for 3 pound an hour ( cash in hand job ) , though the minimum wages for an hour was 6.5 pound an hour. After my studies, i switched over to PSW visa for 2 years. I got a general assistant night shift job in Sainsbury supermarket walthamstow during 2011 dec, christmas period for 8.3 pound an hour. I worked 60 hours a week and sent back money to india to repay my loan amount of 8 lakh rupees. During my PSW Visa, i worked full time in Sainsbury's and finished my loan and earned some money and returned to india by sept 2012. My advice is that, it's better to come to uk through onsite which the IT cmpany will send you to uk on deputation.
One of the useful video I have ever seen, iam applying for a job opportunity in UK Or Luxembourg, very useful information and guidelines given, Thank you for all the Brothers for this video
Good information. With this video gets circulated across Tamil Nadu. Could see the sufferings of students in the UK (Loan stress career growth, family, etc..). .Students have to think multiple times before coming to the UK.
Very very important and informative videos Any way thank you for shown such beautiful video Almighty always bless you and saves yours family go ahead Omnamasivaya
As a Londoner for more than a decade ( Naanum Erode than). If you are coming as a student, pick your course. More than 90% of course do not fetch you job. I have seen many students take a part time job as money making opportunity and miss the studies. Think long term , make a clear plan and act accordingly.Do not take huge loans blindly just for a sake of coming and working in part time jobs. On a positive note, exposure and lesson ( yes, costly experience) will help you to live a positive life when you go back.
Bro you missed another important thing.. current market skills. I'm working in Chennai as an HR recruiter in a consultancy and we got a few big companies as our client. One of the senior HRs from a big company came to our office for a session and shared how companies are struggling to hire 1 skilled employee and to retain them at least for a year.. He also shared that today's students aren't ready to upgrade themselves and looking only for money and failing to understand that only upgrading ourselves will take us to a good position and help us earn a good salary... In today's world college degree alone won't help us to get into a job we need to learn the current market skills to get into a job apart from this we need to possess some level of soft skills too... And also most of the companies in today's world are looking for a person who has a curiosity to learn new things...
Hi bro am also came to UK for study visa, finished my studies and got psw visa. But no use i came back to india. Even after lot of suffering as you all said in this video no more life settlement and no value of degree in UK. Professional jobs are very hard to get. Student life is very hard nowadays in UK. Please think as many times before going to UK studies as middle class family...
Very very informative video ... Million thanks to the bro taking all the efforts to present this video. I am working in UK for 2+ years on work visa and have come across many students like this who are suffering and they didn't know what is UK like before reaching this country. Many students also don't manage to get a job after a degree which is another big issue ...
The problem is most of them come here just to earn money and don’t see the bigger picture. TBH getting a job to get some money is feasible, but if you want to prolong here then it will be way too hard that what you expect. It is not unrealistic but just too hard. I came here in 2020 and I never had a mindset to just earn money. I concentrated on building up knowledge and taking my time to understand the market over here which helped me at the end of the day. A hard truth is you need to know what you are doing here and you need to be really good if you want to get a serious job over here. Those who are planning to come here needs to be in the top 5 out of 10 back in India and you got lot of chances to survive here.
I have been living here in the UK for 27 years. I honestly tell my Indian and Tamil students, please do not come to the UK. The life is very tough. No jobs, the standard of life is very low, almost all students are struggling.
Very useful & informative video. The youths explain very clearly the truth and reality of the situation they faced. So those who wants to pursue their higher studies in foreign countries and get good jobs and settle there must think about the idea twice or more before moving to next step. God bless ❤
Really informative video.Pity these students, I visited liverpool and was surprised to see so many youngsters doing menial Job.Please study properly join a good university in india and take care of your lives and parents. Doing be carried away by studying abroad.
Excellent and poignant video. Hatsoff to you for uploading such useful video. Reality is spoken black and white. Most of the people who have illusion on foreign countries could know the exact reality. The grass is greener on the other side is well explained. Keep rocking yar.
