    Thank you. This is very helpful as I'm going to construct a labyrinth and I love the Chartres plan but my space isn't large enough for the 11 circuit. This one will be just right. Thanks again.

    Do you have any plans for a chartres 7 circuit labyrinth by chance? I'm putting together my plans to build one for our church..

    • @DiscoverLabyrinths
      @DiscoverLabyrinths  3 года назад

      Thanks for the suggestion, as I do like the 7-Circuit Chartres Essence variation and studied with Robert Ferre who created it. I'll see if I can draw it up in the coming months.

    "free hand" There were circles imprinted in the paper

    • @DiscoverLabyrinths
      @DiscoverLabyrinths  5 лет назад +1

      This is freehand meaning that I'm not using a compass. The imprints are from previous attempts earlier in my sketchbook.

    may I ask what is the term circuit used for? my tribal symbol is a 7 layered labyrinth, and uses same "rules" trying to understand it its our oldest symbol

    • @DiscoverLabyrinths
      @DiscoverLabyrinths  5 лет назад

      Circuits are counted as the number of pathways surrounding the center. So this is a 5-Circuit version of the original 11-Circuit Chartres Labyrinth (really the inner or outer 5-Circuits!). The oldest examples of labyrinths are 7-Circuit Classical designs.

    "I draw this freehand..."
    Hey pal, you're using lined paper, huh? Or is that simply someone hacking your video?

    • @DiscoverLabyrinths
      @DiscoverLabyrinths  3 года назад

      Freehand meaning that I didn't use a compass! Graph paper certainly helps gauge the spacing

  • @thatclassydude7242
    @thatclassydude7242 7 лет назад +3

    That wasn't free hand I can see small indents for the circles you drew
