I'm getting pretty sick of watching all these videos, and you never invited me over to eat once. 🙂
It's really a blessing to be able to go out and harvest your own food like that. Not to mention a lot of fun too.

I went to Newfoundland a few years ago and wanted to go cod fishing, maybe rent boat and try it. 1. There were only two weeks a year they allowed recreational cod fishing. 2. I never found a place to rent a boat for cod fishing in the ocean. So if you go there and plan to fish like I did it is just stream and river fishing. Really , I mean really do your homework before you go there to fish. It was still a good trip and I did catch some fish from the bank. But I am not going back.

Recreational cod fishery is 2 weeks in July-aug and 2 weeks in sept. There’s nowhere to rent a boat because the North Atlantic can be very dangerous and renting a boat to just anyone is unsafe. There are charters that can take you out cod jigging all over the island.

How many Cod are you allowed to catch? I was told it was per boat, not per person. That's when I visited NFLD a few years ago. The locals said the Federal law was ridiculous. Comments?

Why do you take off that midel part on fillet? And cuting and keeping lower part of fish (mouth )?
Also how is that no tea time on this trip?😊
