i love this show, so down to earth, no frills only a simple way of life in our beautiful Newfoundland and Labrador
I have been subbed for a little while now; what I really like about your videos is your simple approach - you kit is basic and used not boutique and there is a gentle confidence and enjoyment. Great Stuff!
love your video,I'm sure many do thanks again --stephenville

Used to use a long needle to get the wrinkles out , string em on a line of thread , as fast as I could fill the line , my grandmother could empty it !!! She sure loved her wrinkles !!!

Newfoundland Outsider. Thanks for the videos Newfoundland Outsider. Really enjoy. What part of NFL are you enjoying? Are there any bears in this area? You’ve shown moose, magnificent beasts. Best wishes from Cornwall UK.
I'm on the west coast of newfoundland. A little city of corner brook, we have lots of black bears.
@@thenewfoundlandoutsider6354 thanks for info. Also ref the bear population. My wife has all her remaining family in BC and Alberta. In the mid 90s we spent Christmas(clue to my dumbness) in Rossland, and went tobogganing in some woods. I managed to go “off piste” and ended up some way from the rest of the gang. Suddenly there were cries of “there’s a bear behind you”! Goodness I could’ve beaten Jesse Owens with the speed I went uphill in the snow! To be met by the family laughing their socks off, before reminding that bears hibernate in winter! Amazing what fear can do😳. Best wishes from “Bear Free -UK”
Great video! I always thought those little snails were just for bait. I might have to try them sometime. Any tips on harvesting mussels? I was always told to get them from the rocks and not in the mud. I also heard they're better to get in the Fall, maybe September. Any truth to this?
On the rocks for mussels
How do you forage in winter?
Great video can you tell me the location.... thank you for sharing..
