I plan to pair this board with a Ryzen 5 1600 and Gtx 1060 because all Gtx 1660 and rtx 2060 out of stock so I can’t get either. Good idea to save money so I don’t spend like 400/800 pounds or should I wait till New Years/january before getting the pc because my gpu will cause huge bottleneck (it’s quite bad gpu my model is, like 3gb vram. At the least maybe I should get a 1080 but I think they also out stock.
Best thing to do is wait for the sales and buy parts then thats what im doing because my personal gaming rig needs an update too...also your right there are a lot of GPUs that are out of stock now i was planning to get a RTX 2060 but its out of stock best thing is buy the parts individually so if you find a good deal on a cpu buy that first then look for deals on the other parts you need then purchase them too thats the methods i use
@Mr_Shams Runs great. I use it for Plex 24/7 and play some Starcraft 2, DayZ and Phasmafobia. It's not amazing for games, but at 720p on medium+ runs DayZ good. My plan is to upgrade the processor eventually and get a graphics card, as the Athlon will only support x4 from the PCIe slot, but I'd highly recommend. Windows runs great 4k and RUclips playback
@@khianuy6293 to take full advantage of the x16 lane PCIe slot the processor needs to be at least 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen (none APU) With the AMD® Athlon™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics, it will only support the slot at x4 speed, basically making the performance be a quarter of what the card is capable of. My understanding from reading some online literature is that any PCIe 3.0 compatible card will work, even the latest 3000 series from Nvidia, but they’ll have PCIe 3.0 performance and will be limited by the Athlon or APU CPUs (3200g and 3400g for example MSI say it’s limited to x8 speed) in the motherboard. But I’m sure the performance will be better than the built in graphics with the 3000g until you upgrade the CPU. As of yet, I’ve not installed a graphics card. For what I needed out of this build with light gaming and running a Plex server full time, the Athlon 3000g has been amazing. Still only 720p gaming, but been playing Valorant and DayZ just fine. While a Minecraft server and Plex is running along with Torrents through Sonarr and Radarr doing their thing 24/7 for just shy of 2 years.
@@samsonsanthosh tbh, coming up to 2 years now and I’m still on 3000g, overclocked to 3.8GHz and I get 60fps on low graphics 1080 on Valorant which is fine for me while running Plex. Since getting a PS5 I use that for main games and then this for just Valorant, DayZ and a media server
I have bought one 4 years ago when started building my pc but haven't got big budget. It really worked fine and still works fine 4 years on now. 3200mhz on the ram. Supports all sort of graphics card. For the money it was perfect. But yeah im at a point i want something more serious. Perfect for first time pc projects

Yes this motherboard will work with a RTX 2070 however if your going to consider overclocking then it would be a better idea to fork out some extra money for a more capable motherboard. using the M2 variant of this thing, i mean it's good but it takes 15 seconds for the boot, not sure what version i have because the MSI bios versions for that is so annoying confusing. Specs: MSI a320m a-pro m2 Ryzen 5 3400g 2x8GB hyperx Fury 2666mhz 2x1TB HDDs SATA 128GB SSD 6 PC Case Fans AMD Wraith Stock Cooler. Though, for some reason my games lags like 7 seconds and comes back to normal and does that again, probably thermal throttle from the VRM of the motherboard, but i doubt because this variant supports upto Ryzen 9 AM4 Processors. I suspect is that the Wraith Cooler is not performing well given that i game on my APU.

Hey you need to look up on MSIs page the name that you give to the file, so bassically you need to rename it so your bios can read and find it. a quick youtube search should help out

Hey I have this motherboard and my ram frequency doesn’t go higher than 1800 mhz even if my rams are 3600 mhz I did all the bios things like xmp and stuff but no changes help me please
hey, i think you may be looking at the FLK or fabric clock speed which is not the ram FREQUENCY as this motherboard can allow a max of 3200 mhz. try updating your BIOS or unlink the fabric clock speed as tgat could be why it is maxing out then. if the issue contines let me know and ill see if i can make a video about it
im planing to build PC with 200ge and this motherboard, BUT I have 3000Mhz RAM, will I get full RAM speed or it'll reduce to 2666mhz due to 200ge's max ram speed?
Hi unfortunately due to your CPU the 200ge the ram will be limited to 2666mhz because of the CPU the motherboard supports up to 3200mhz +OC but your CPU doesn't support above 2666mhz
I bought this motherboard brand new from amazon and i mounted brand new corsair vengeance lpx (ddr4) 3000mhz cl16 in 2x8gb on it, and in settings-》system info it tells me 16gb ram installed (8gb usable). And whatever i do with bios settings, i cant get my motherboard to use the 2nd ram stick???
@@M20UBR88 i tried swapping the sticks and i am sure both sticks work, it just has a problem using the stick in the first slot. It reads it but nothing more, it's so weird! My pc knows I have 16gb of ram but only uses 8, and if I boot with only a stick in the left slot it refuses to boot. Could it mean it's defective? Have you had similar problems with yours? Should I trade it for an MSI B450M-A pro max? Or maybe just the b450m-a pro?
I had a similar issue but that was because the pins on the cpu we're bent my ram was good if your cpu is good that means you might be right the ram might be defective.

Yes you can fit a RTX 3050 with out upgrading unless you want to overclock if you want to overclock best not to use this motherboard as its cheep and a more expensive one will handle overclocking stably. Hi yes pc part picker is right however in my case from purchasing 2 of these motherboards i havent had to update the BIOS so you might not have to update it either however if u do its a easy process there might be a video on the channle soon on how to do that so it would be amazing if u could like and subscribe thanks..
So basically from my experience as long as the motherboard company says in the description that it support that generation of CPUs then you dont need to worry and if the motherboard dose need updating the pc will just only go into the BIOS then what youll have to do is get the update on a USB and put it onto the pc.

(DUAL-RX580-O8G) is a good gpu for ur build but its expensive at the moment as well as all other GPUs because of covid 19 its best to wait for prices to go down
Gamers Edition and the voltage was on auto, (around 1.380v) and if i decrease it to 1.300v the ghz is going down to 3.60ghz... so i think i just undervolted it.... this motherboard is overclockable or nah?
Gamers Edition it never hits 4.4 ghz, and my gpu is 1660 ti, i get fps drop alot when theres alot of players and building... i think its bottleneck a bit... what do u think?

All GPUs that use a PCIE slot can physically fit in this motherboard. But bare in mind that it is only a GEN 3 PCIE Bandwidth, so a GPU with GEN 4 Bandwidth Support might have to hold back a bit :)

Yes, this will support it as it supports ALL 3rd Gen Ryzen cpus some boards have been updated with the new BIOS however there are some that will need a BIOS FLASH.
One Question, I just bought the Mobo, and when I looked into the bios, I found options for cpu overclocking! Why is this so, if It wasn't overcloable like you mentioned. Should I try overclocking it anyway? Maybe from the bios itself or ryzen master!

It depends where u buy the motherboard for e.g amozon might sell the one with the updated BIOS and currys pc world might sell the one with a not updated version of the BIOS

The gpu will work with the motherboard (1650) however the i3 9100f will not work because this is a amd only motherboard so it dose not support Intel CPUs
@@Aerobix I plan to use this board. I don’t want to get a 3rd party cooler as I’m not overclocking, the only “Overclock” I plan to use is Xmp memory. Should I get a third party cooler or not
Firstly you'll need to go into your computers BIOS so shut down the computer and turn it back on as soon as it turns on start pressing (tapping) the delete button until it loads the BIOS once in there go to your ram settings and thats where you can change the mhz make sure to turn on xmp also please subscribe to our channle it helps us and other people find the videos

There is a Max version that has an M.2 slot, that's the one I have. Paired with Athlon 3000g at first. plans on upgrading in future. Highly recommend.

How far can you upgrade the cpu without the thermals on the vrm being an issue? Ik that the 3600 will run fine with pbo thx to tyc

I have this mobo and I noticed that the bios chip always stay on 130 c degrees. Anyone have the same problem?
it could be because of a lack of airflow or the temp sensor might have an issue :/

I bought this motherboard brand new from amazon and i mounted brand new corsair vengeance lpx (ddr4) 3000mhz cl16 in 2x8gb on it, and in settings-》system info it tells me 16gb ram installed (8gb usable). And whatever i do with bios settings, i cant get my motherboard to use the 2nd ram stick???
Hi did you put the ram in the right slot for dule channle (2 sticks of ram )

@@M20UBR88 i tried swapping the sticks and i am sure both sticks work, it just has a problem using the stick in the first slot. It reads it but nothing more, it's so weird! My pc knows I have 16gb of ram but only uses 8, and if I boot with only a stick in the left slot it refuses to boot. Could it mean it's defective? Have you had similar problems with yours? Should I trade it for an MSI B450M-A pro max? Or maybe just the b450m-a pro?
I had a similar issue but that was because the pins on the cpu we're bent my ram was good if your cpu is good that means you might be right the ram might be defective.

So basically from my experience as long as the motherboard company says in the description that it support that generation of CPUs then you dont need to worry and if the motherboard dose need updating the pc will just only go into the BIOS then what youll have to do is get the update on a USB and put it onto the pc.

Hi, why when i overclock to 4.4ghz its not going up to 4.4ghz, only 4.2ghz sometimes (r5 3600x) id cooling cooler..
Basically when you overclock it only uses that extra bit when its needed
Gamers Edition and the voltage was on auto, (around 1.380v) and if i decrease it to 1.300v the ghz is going down to 3.60ghz... so i think i just undervolted it.... this motherboard is overclockable or nah?

hey, you can overclock, but its not recommended for this oard as it only has a 4pin for cpu power instead of the reccomended 8 pin

All GPUs that use a PCIE slot can physically fit in this motherboard. But bare in mind that it is only a GEN 3 PCIE Bandwidth, so a GPU with GEN 4 Bandwidth Support might have to hold back a bit :)

Firstly you'll need to go into your computers BIOS so shut down the computer and turn it back on as soon as it turns on start pressing (tapping) the delete button until it loads the BIOS once in there go to your ram settings and thats where you can change the mhz make sure to turn on xmp also please subscribe to our channle it helps us and other people find the videos

it only has 1 fan header but it is a 4 pin
it won’t matter if it’s A four pin header if you have a 3 pin fan connector that will work on it as well
