@@JustinJ yes it is foolish, The Almighty Creator isn't worried about your music career.

1. Out Work
2. Good Content
3. Be Active On Your Socials
Become a good artist before you become a rapper you’ll have a better chance of making it it cuts the competition by like 50%. Make your own beats and rap on them. Learn how to mix and master. Help other ppl out wit their projects. Never stop working.
Thissssssss 🥵
Facts
I'm wondering how so many of these new Rappers keep making It cause they don't sound unique or special or have they own special kool flow. Yeah there's some good Rappers who sound special but most I'm wondering how they got put on. 💯
None of the people in the music industry reject you they reject your idea because it doesn't have the potential to produce money that's why you cannot make it in the music industry.

Don’t take advice from no one you would wanna become, if it’s meant for you you’ll have it but the question is do you really love it?
Go get you a degree my guy 🤧
If u have a voice or the ability to sing or rap it was a gift from god. So I believe if u have it then it’s meant for u
Bruh 😂 the industry does not work by love .
@@glockketchum8255 if you love it you’ll never stop because it’s who u are and if u never stop you will succeed.
Ayyy this hilarious 😂😂😂
Don’t give up... work hard...
Don’t give up...
Love what you do... and someone else just might...
Do everything under the sun to get heard...
This is dope, thanks for droppin gems to the masses!
If by “outwork” you mean have money and the right connections, then yes💯💯💯
People with money and connections drop songs that dont recoup everyday. So many people at major labels are sitting on shelves right now. Money and connections can only get you so far.. you gotta keep working for the spot
I appreciate this so much, because I definitely have the hardest time as a female artist in the 757. People don't really support one another here and it's like grinding all alone. I'm trying to find my space to make it !
You got this.
@@Ja-Ron thank you so much!!!

I dont talk to a friend of almost 20 years because he slipped up one night when we were fucked up and said, “Im just trying to ride your coat tails fr fr” and then tried to frame it as a joke. Getting a team in general, has been an absolute nightmare. But despite the overwhelming amount of setbacks i refuse to give up and i refuse to keep pushing on. You cats really out here dropping knowledge worth a mil and then some 🙌🔥🙌
Gotta thank god bro showed his true colors early so you can cut ties
Nigga why u make it seem like he said sum gay zhit 😭
Bro you got 0 content on your page
Bro you can’t necessarily count that friend out. You know him and his situation and intentions better than me, but just consider if he just content with working for you. It’s people back in the early 1800’s/1900’s even further back in royal era, had loyal right hand men who knew their position and played it as loyally as they could, With their lives in some instances. Took care of mfs father, then sons, and died as a right hand man. Some people are just loyal and that’s their weapon. They know their loyalty is a valuable weapon in the hands of the right leader.
😂 fr i was like this comment so real lms what he got@@highrank8736
You are 100 percent correct. Put the work in.... Grind everyday. I am a manager and have a radio station and I work harder than some of these artists. it is crazy- Stay positive - peace

If you haven’t been practicing early on, your days of making is in trying. More than none. ‘96 in here. Been original. And keep being it. I’m begging for it!
what?
I need the motivation because it’s kinda hard I need people to uplift me but ima keep grinding for my spot
Y’all please stop taking advice & do it your way. You can’t be the next lil baby or YB, so don’t try to follow their steps. Create your own and never let anyone tell you what you can’t do.
Being an artist is like running a business plan and simple
Real men on this show
Make good content and be marketable is how you make it...be creative and passionate artist is how stay ln top of the food chain

4:12 see, that's why I have an issue with social media, because most of the people I grew up with who knew I've been doing music ain't shown a lick of support, unless I bother them with my content. I don't get it, that's why I stopped dealing with it. And it's even worse for me because I don't even fuck with hip hop like that
See, that's why I just was like F that and made a whole new account and didn't tell anybody who knew me besides like a handful of people. Now people from back in the day find shit on their own and are like "yo wtf you do music"
Also didn't mean to start my post the same way as u lmao
But is it good or does it suck
if it’s good, just cater to and run ads to strangers.Strangers have showed me more support than people I knew for years
Spamming folks will never work you have to give value
I agree with everything you said here. I will also say that it’s better not to get a deal. Don’t look for a deal. You don’t have competition if you have your own company. Record labels get loans for you, just get your own loan direct from the bank. Put out your own merch, and you can make six figures per year traveling and recording. I have 3 friends doing this now! One of my friends started in 2019 independent and made 94k on merch alone. Another 10k selling music direct, and another 17k in tour cash flow. I think that’s good considering it just gets better. CCE, CRM’s from RUclips hits are better than anything, as it can make you around 10k per month if you have over 10,000 fans. You don’t need a million fans!
go on a coast to coast “test my gangsta” tour and you’ll blow up if you can live to talk about it 😂
That's 1 of the major factors separating your friendship/relationship from business. It's nothing personal because it's just that - BUSINESS
Much love and respect #dudubrown

I’ve been producing since I could walk. I’m 36 years old now and haven’t made a penny working for my dream.. it has been the craziest thing to think about, that I am either more talented than most ppl I come in contact with on a daily basis, yet I don’t make nearly as much money as them and struggle.
Oh yea, I forgot to mention, I was addicted to drugs my entire 20s which led me to prison for 5 years!!
Is it so much to ask to simply support your family with something you love to do? I’m not even greedy.. I just want financial stability and to reach the world with my beats!
I mean my beats ARE THE NEXT BIG BREAKTHROUGH!!
If there anyone here that can point me in the right direction… I just want to provide for my 1 year old and start my career!!
I’m way to talented!!
And I’m sure others can relate!!
Get you a team.
Marketing takes your none to none to I can actually make this happen

You’re not gonna make it in the music industry anyway if you really think you’re going to be fucking discovered by anyone… That’s just facts, you’re your own rockstar bro.
Sumn about saying the chances are none of none seems….off….like Ik ts don’t just come easy, but none of none is like false😭 it’s too many successful rappers that came off tik tok alone. I would just say it’s a saturated industry (as are many other professions)💀and you gotta work hard asl to get noticed
This is music business
2:37 to 3:25 REAL $HIT!
It’s literally a lightning strike lol
Can you talk about different salaries in the rap game. Because we have some that make $250k a year and others make mills. Can you talk about what it takes to make a comfortable living for some of these rappers?
You gotta have drive and passion. It's not always about the salary. Think about being consistent. If you know how to make 250k a year, keep doing that, maybe experiment with something new and you'll make more or less. But the real key is consistency.
And some of these people are really just part time rappers, and do other shit because they learned how to invest their money.
What’s considered “making it” in the music industry?
Making a living off the music ONLY.
Im hungry from pa
aint no out workin nobody when u got bhad bhabie out here

Step 1: Don’t be trash
This is the most important step of them all.
Being trash dont matter. Hundreds of rappers are trash and stillliving their dreams

This man is currently putting his daughter on in the same industry he advised you to not be involved in cus it’s to many people trying.. it’s this simple once you have the connections and knowledge on how to use them then one hand washes the other and the pot is split… money is the root of it all is there money to be made then if so who is necessary in that equation to do so …cus if it was about music it would be about TALENT
Niggas had me thinking I was a rapper 😂
Da baby went on flex..spit sum fire ..and feel ever since dat his brand expanded..flex or at home..gil rite..constancy is key

I gave up. Went into the IT field. Best decision I ever made. I’d rather be a computer geek than put my life at risk just to be shafted by the corporate structure. I found something your average rapper can’t copy. I’m content. The rap dream is just that. A dream. It’s not practical
it is not a dream if a lot of artists already achieve that, if someone can make it, you can make it too, no matter what.
@@Arievilo You’re right G. I guessed music changed and I got older.
@@JustKenExisting i feel the same way bro. But Look, jay released his first album when he was 26, rina sawayama the same , kanye 25/26, leonard cohen with 33, there is still time to achieve it, keep the dream on. let the artistic shit drive you!
