I'm from Norway and I'd love to go boating during the winter. The winters in the UK are very mild compared to here. It's actually my favorite time of the year for camping as well, as there are less bugs, and people!

Yes, we rarely get proper cold snaps and deep snow here. Last winter I can't remember a single frosty morning! But this year we have already had a proper snowfall! Fingers crossed for more!
My Mum always used to say that people's anger always shows how dissatisfied they are with their own world and not yours. Each season has its own particular beauty. Even a day of heavy rain can be beautiful on a forest walk, I enjoy walking my dog through Delamere Forest in torrential rain with the raindrops pounding against the canopy of conifers and you often have the forest to yourself on such days.

I was about to say "blaze" coal was really rubbish. I bought 20 bags one time and noticed that it was actually making my fire go out. I took 18 bags back and got a refund ! The best coal is from coal merchants and a few bags of coke aswel. Ps , I didn't have a narrow boat, I had a stove in the back of my ERF that I converted to a living van. Then I sold it and went trucking in Canada. My deisel heater keeps me warm now.

Yes, basically in recent months I have looked through my archives and thought "right lets do a winter themed video" then I just try and talk about some winter thoughts for a while. It is why sometimes my previous videos completely get derailed!

Yes there are certainly some bonuses to the winter, I love how quiet and calm it goes with all the holiday traffic gone for months on end!
