Been there, done that. Stationed outside Kassel 1968 to 1971. Spent 18 months near Eschwege. Kassel has a wonderful Bruder Grimm museum, as well as Hercules!!!
This video is soooo helpful: tells you how long to plan at each place, and shows you exactly what is worth seeing. Really helps me plan my trip. Thank you from India!
I really liked this video. Nice effects, music, drone. Different from what I've seen before from you two (which I also like). The fairytale trail is an interesting way to show your travels in Germany. And I really liked the fog in the drone shots at Trendelberg.
Smashing jaunt you two are on, the scenery looks amazing, the sights you must see when you first get out of bed😉,, that’s another video😂. Glad to see Flora is doing her job well. Anyway carry on, enjoy and keep the videos coming.
oh guys I love your channel. I watch it instead of tv at night! Please do some trips to Cornwall, I'm planning a road trip there this year in our vw t25! it should be up on the road soon! XXX
Hi Becca! Thanks for your comment 😊 we love Cornwall and would love to explore it in our van! Hopefully we will be able to do some this year. Are going to travel anywhere specific in Cornwall or just tour around?
@@FloraTheNoviceExplorers Oh I'm not sure, I've got a little bubba who will be nearly 2 so it will be mainly kiddy friendly things :) On behalf of youtube thank you for all your efforts with your channel it really is brill! X
Love you guys I’ve watched you from the beginning.... 👍🏻👏🏻 you inspired me to buy a van, I’ve just started to convert it and I can’t wait to have some adventures next year... keep up the good work 😊
Hi Jo, that's awesome to hear! You won't regret it :) Is this your first go at converting a van? We definitely had tough times converting ours but so worth it. We've had a great time so far, we want to see EVERYTHING but also remembering not to rush too much :P
Hey, you two! Still slowly working my way through your videos, but I thought I'll jump forward to the German ones, with it being my country of birth. I know Bremen well, since I was born in Bremerhaven, but much of what you explored is new to me too and I've never been on that fairy tale route (shows how little we often know about our own back yard). As always, brilliant videography and editing. Love your vids! 👍🏼😉
Fantastic it’s great to know you are watching and we are showing you something different! We know what you mean about your own backyard! When exploring the UK we realised there was so much still to see! 👍🚐😊
Wow, this vid is superb, you made me feel like I was in a magical Germany, brilliant footage and great background music with it and some interesting info. I will be touring for a year or so starting at the end of this month around Europe, I will be sure to keep an eye out for Flora and you guys of course. Keep up the great work. P.S keep an eye out for exterior thermal silver screens whilst in Germany, you won't regret getting one, no more dreaded condensation.
Thanks for your comment Jason, we really appreciate it :) we had great fun on the Fairy Tale route! Whereabouts are your travel plans taking you? We’re currently heading south, trying to avoid the cold as best we can! Will keep an eye out for silver screens ;)
Our travel plans go as far as the Ferry at Dover so far 😂 we do plan on spending some time exploring in Spain and Portugal and really want to go into Morroco this time. I'm not a huge fan of the cold haha.
Well that’s a start! Haha. Yeah, not a fan of the cold either. We’re currently going through France rather quick, but will be slowing down in Spain a bit I imagine, then plan to be in Portugal for a while. Let us know how Morocco is if you make it there! :)
Thanks Gordon! Do you mean the big white one? If so I’ll have to ask Meg, it was a birthday gift I think. I love it. Wear it all the time 😂 will let you know!
Hey Gordon - Meg here! I have found his hoodie here - www.puritystyle.com/collections/hoodies-bajas?gclid=CjwKCAjw4pT1BRBUEiwAm5QuR7Q5iYiPJGsscw-tRA3t0MS2ZXKJZRgzo9ekZ7ipTgX6sV6sFXMeeBoCNzcQAvD_BwE
Yes I (meg) do most of the driving, I like driving flora and I’m a sh*t passenger. Cal does have a licence and can very much drive but he’s happy relaxing. It works for us! 👍🚐
Hi Megan and Callum - loved the video, great production and very informative. We have just finished a road trip in France and are now planning to travel through Germany. Do you have any particular tips to help us plan the trip? Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing.
Hi 👋, we’ve realised German is a really easy place to travel by camper! Lots of free motor home stops, with cheap easy to use services. We went from Bremen in the north all the way down to Füssen near the Austrian border, following the fairy tale route and then the romantic route. Füssen was one of our favourite places - Bavaria and the black Forrest is beautiful. Park4night app highly recommended and google translate helped us out big time! Supermarkets are great and local market squares are a must too. Please Feel free to get in touch if you want to know more/ ask us anything (social media may be more direct) we would love to help 😀🚐👍 happy travels!
@@FloraTheNoviceExplorers Thank you, that is very kind of you. I am sure we will be in touch again as we work on the plans - although we are not great on the social media but we do have a website in addition to youtube channel.Best wishes for your travels and looking forward to Germany Part 2
Wow, what a nice video! We did also a road trip in the last summer trough Germany. I subscribed and liked you. I would be happy, when you take a look on our channel. Best regards

Watching you as a German feels like Harry Potter is visiting Germany. Kris
what time of year were you there
Hello! This was around September/October time 😊
Very challenging to guess German cities pronounced in English. Kris
