In 2011 I did Poughkeepsie. I missed the turn to the wall and ended up driving the bypass. Didn't know it at the time, only knew I somehow missed the wall. I've wondered if my accidental trail eventually opened as a bypass and apparently it did. Three years later :-)
That entire area is so beautiful that it would be a shame to miss it just because of a little thing called the wall. We enjoyed the bypass, but Bill is adamant he is going to drive the wall the next time he is out there. Enjoy your adventures!
