    It took me the whole 3 weeks on yard to learn how to get my tractor straight with my trailer doing the forward offset. I watched this video and got it the first time after that and been doing great ever since. Thank you so much for this video. My FOUR instructors couldn’t get it to register what I was doing wrong. SO THANK YOU!!❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

    So when your making your right hand turn to line your trailer tires up to hit the mark. Is that a hard right or a slight right? It seems every time I do my first left turn and then swing back to the right to start lining up my rear tires on my trailer. I'm really close or almost hitting the cone. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and always crooked to the point that my rear of my trailer is diagonally to the left of the box and I can never straighten myself out to start the maneuver to back in

    • @truckerstevecdlinstructor
      @truckerstevecdlinstructor  Месяц назад

      I have several videos on the forward offset tracking. Please view each one to understand my thoughts. You can come with the hard right but as soon as the right rear trailer tires come into view it’s time to first make sure the tires are or will travel between the cone and the hash mark. Next it’s time to get your tractor trailer straight and parallel to the outer boundary lines. Please view the rest of my videos.

      Ok thanks so to get A little farther from that The last cone that I have to put my drive tires by I should hold my left a little bit longer? Before I make my right

    For some reason mine keeps ending up crooked. At what exact point should I straighten the trailer back out with a left? Where would the trailer tires be?
    At what point should I swing to the left initially?

      Thank you for congratulating me! The testing area was between two buildings….and on a slope to the left…..threw me off but I got it figured out so glad it went well for me….passed my first try….my biggest recommendation for any other person getting ready for their behind the wheel test is…..take your time don’t rush through the test….i took three hours to complete my test…that’s ok though cause I passed so…..make sure you practice a lot…

      That is the forward control stop not the forward offset tracking .
      In order to do the last test, reverse offset back how would you get your tractor trailer into the left side of the alley? That is test 3 -
      Forward offset tracking to the left
