New strats! Nothing super major but enough to shave some time off. Still not certain what my goal time is yet but I think I want to bring it under 7:45 at least.

Great job, love this game! Might have to try this run out. Just curious, is there any intention behind centering yourself multiple times between the big trees near the end, or is that just a time wasting thing?
To get the clone to spawn, you have to look at 3 trees with the quantum bark texture and have them disappear. So while I wait for the galaxies, I align myself between 3 trees that are close together so I can just spin to spawn the clone immediately.

How does shooting the scout into teleporters save time?
The game has to open the black hole on the warp pad before you can warp. Shooting the scout ahead of you starts opening the black hole sooner so you spend less time on the warp pad.

Is there a purpose to turning around and scout boosting towards the big bang at the end? Does it make the last flash envelope you faster or something? Or is it just a neat effect to show?
It does in fact make the big bang consume you faster, by about 0.7s.

Why is no one talking about the fact that their timer inexplicably freezes a minute and a half in? That automatically disqualifies it from being the world record

Are those last seconds of the run really necessary? I thought speedruns stop counting after the last user input, or is there a point to those last seconds where you're throwing the scout?
Scoutboosting towards the big bang saves 0.7 seconds, those inputs are still a relevant part of the run.
Is there a reason you don't land directly at the fire instead of on the launchpad for the statue pairing?
The cutscene removes the suit, so landing next to the ship allows us to quickly reequip it. Keeping the suit saves time as boosting back up to the ship after sleeping is much faster than taking the elevator.

How do you get the statue to not play until you're on the launch platform? I thought you'd botched it when the statue didn't turn and link like normal.
I'm not very familiar with speedrunning this game or in general so I'm sorry if this is a well-known glitch or something, I just genuinely haven't seen it before!
Statue won't turn if player is flying
probably a frequent question, but why do you fly with 2 thrusters (45 degrees between directions) instead of 3?
are 3 thrusrers slower?
The "in-plane" thrusters have a capped speed, as in thrusting forward and thrusting forward and right give you the same acceleration. The up and down thrusters are separate from this so optimal flight is 1 in-plane thruster plus either up or down.
What if try complete without statue?

Do everything you can, return to statue, then ash twin etc
Why's the timer pause during waiting? Is how fast it goes dependent on PC specs or something?

That's exactly why we pause it yes. The way sleep works is the game turns off all visuals and runs the physics simulation as fast as it can, which is obviously very hardware dependent.
Question：At the end of the video, why use little scouts to push yourself? I remember the developer said that you can’t move here.
The recoil from the scout still moves you closer to the big bang, though the jetpack doesn't. It saves about 0.7s.

The biggest ones are launching the scout onto the ATP warp pad to start the warp animation early, and some different movement in the quantum observatory. The rest are pretty minor changes here and there.
