Angelaa Chann AOA debuted in a really chauvinistic time for kpop. Cutesy and sexy concepts were normal and ahjussi fans were the IT demographic. I’m glad they’ve survived long enough as a kpop idol group to see a more accepting and music oriented decade.

It's hard to hold a place in a industry where if you are not constantly releasing new music every 6 months or so you will start to fade off.
Honestly, AOA have stepped up their game incredibly. After so many ups and downs, they keep fighting their way to the top and it shows. The hardships they've endured as a group have seriously made them stronger individuals and even better performers. You go, girls!

They are an old group, that recently came back from nowhere. They lost quite a few members - one of which was probably one of the most popular ones they had. A lot of their old fan base is probably now working adults and don't have a lot of time to invest into supporting their group. They basically need to reestablish themselves now as an active group that can thrive just as well without the lost members.
