Hi Jen, I'm 50, with 2 grown up children were stan of BTS since their debut in 2013 and had a chance to have high five with them in KCon at L.A. and 13 y/o help her battle against severe depression in this pandemic time. As for me, BTS help me to love myself when I was diagnosed with Cancer in 2018. It was my down side days, BTS given me hope to live and eliminate all the toxic thoughts and people in my life.
I love you Jen ❤whatever your going through right now be your self and love your self.
I would love for you to listen to their song Blue & Grey, they recently performed at MTV Unplugged but make sure to check out the translated lyrics at Doolset Bangtan, don't watch the color coded video. In fact, for any BTS songs, you can reliably refer to Doolset Bangtan for the lyrics as she also explained any cultural references in the lyrics. Whalien 52 and 134340 is quite underrated in terms of the lyricism. Idk what kind of songs you're into but here are some of my suggestions:

I love how BTS hooks people on different things. They got it all: looks, dance, voices, music and lyrics. For Jen I see that lyrics are the hook. For me it was dance. I love dancing and musicals. But now I grew to appreciateeverything about BTS and each member. I am thankful to BTS they found me when I needed it 💜

I noticed that you mentioned about loving yourself a couple of times on your videos, so I would suggest you react to BTS's Love Myself: Answer (no MV, but you can react to the lyrics video and live performance that has english subs on it). Loving yourself is a big theme in BTS discography journey and BTS has a love myself campaign with Unicef. I found these guys when I am going through a betrayal who I thought was my best friend. It hurt me soo bad. I hated myself for not believing in my boyfriend when he told me she's using me. I couldn't even face my boyfriend after that I was ashamed of myself. Thankfully after listening to their songs and them I felt a lot better and I am really thankful to them and my boyfriend. He's supported me through all the shit and never once complained. And I can understand what you're going through though it's not the same any betrayal hurts especially from who are very close to us and I literally treated her like my sister. So I know how it feels but it's not our fault that they betrayed us. I moved on amd i can see you've as well

i think you'll like their song Let Go! it's their japanese track, it doesn't have MV, but you'll soon learn that b-side songs of BTS are the true gems :) so instead of MV you can turn on a lyric video to have a translation. i'd recommend one from the channel af taehyung, it has a good translation and a correct lines distribution!

Haha i have to tell you though, bts roots are in hiphop. They actually came from a small almost bankrupt company, and alot of people bullied them. In Korea where you come from is very important. Anyway to learn more you could watch a video called "this is bts " or more introduction videos.

Hi Jen. First of all i'm sorry for what i'm going to say (my english is not good so please understand me). I'm a 22yo girl from Wallis 🇼🇫 and i'm also French. When i was a kid (8yo) my uncle abuse me physically so i glow up with this nightmare and i almost killed myself when i was 17yo but i saw a video of BTS (MIC DROP) on youtube and i start listening to BTS songs, to read their lyrics and to learn about them and they really saved me from depression, suicide and anxiety and now i feel free.. I'm proud to be part of ARMY and i see your videos and when you talk about you, your struggles I FELT THAT.. YOU MAKE ME CRY SO MUCH and i want to tell that YOU ARE A STRONG AND BEAUTIFUL PERSON. Once you get a good fill of BTS music videos & the messages they give, perhaps you will also react to some fan-made BTS documentaries here on RUclips. There are many & they will tell you the story of BTS themselves from a real & literal perspective of what these boys have gone through, both ups & downs. They are now at the top of the top, but they still work hard & still want to climb higher. Perhaps you can react to their United Nations speech for their Love Myself campaign from a couple years ago. You will have to find (or ask for) the right video to watch as there are many sources of it.

Their song “Life Goes On” made me cry the first time I heard it after learning of a former girlfriend turned good friend passing away in surgery a year or so ago. While I’m still saddened even to this day for my fallen pal’s passing, I move on because oddly some of BTS’ tunes helped me grieve a tad better. Kinda a therapy of a sort when I hit those moments of missing my dear friend. She was beloved by I’m sure a ton of people, along with myself. She had a heart of gold. 😞 💔
