Thank you and Astrid for taking the time to be so creative Kaiser little agriculture. Scientist to love your vibes. Love your creativity and really enjoy watching. Thanks for putting it out there.
Great video. I found myself watching intently as Astrid explained the vanilla pollination and your explanation of the cacao pods. Thanks Shaun and Astrid. You make a great team. Always interesting to watch. Oh yeah, great surfing too!
What creative fun! Love the first part where you are like in a jungle game with the right music to be climbing a ladder and jumping around! The other part I am crazy about is the Cacao harvesting and Vanilla bean tasting! When I was in Kauai a few months ago the local folks showed me around the Cacao trees and talked about harvesting... So amazing what can be grown.
Love the music! And loving a day in the life. Never knew you could grow vanilla and pollinate it by hand. Wow. Cool. I want to see the cacao process. Also super cool. The first time I saw one and tasted it I was blown away.
Love how you both can laugh at yourselves! And probably not many Residents here who can claim growing exotic plants and fruits in their backyard.......
I've been a subscriber for a while, but haven't commented in ages. You two are fantastic, thank you for the entertainment, the tips and tricks in Mexico. Wishing you all, including of course los gatos the best from Canada. Thanks for all the vids, I don't doubt it's a lot of work. Appreciate them! Sue from Ontario Canada
Amazing produce in your garden, very envious that you can grow two of my favourite things, vanilla and cacao. Who knew vanilla was so erotically grown 😂 Love the surfing footage.
omg. i was making sushi in celebration of jens new job. waaaa! and then a new episode of sip!???? def needs a rewatch. And....LEIF TALKINGTON. sharpie all over this episode! well done.solid!
Man, moving and actually making it happen somewhere else where the culture and just the daily day to day is so different is hard. I don’t believe my Bee would be able to handle such an adventure. Enjoy guys 👍🏻
Mikey, definitely. It for sure can be hard. For example Im super chatty in English, but very shy in Spanish. In the states I enjoy being a bit of ham and here i dont have the confidence to act that way in public yet… probably a big reason for these videos is scratching that itch. Thanks for commenting
Shaun, as always another great video. You taking and having the time to surf is great. While not a surfer myself, when we move down to PV in a couple of years, I’m sure I’ll have my own thang to do. Love the fact that you have your own home (ours will be a condo in Versailles), to have your own garden. Showing how you both are involved with the construction process and Astrid being a natural artist…among her other talents. Omg the pollinating sound effects had me and my wife cracking up! Vanilla bean is black gold! The cocoa scene was so cool and interesting to learn about. So much to this video, thanks. Astrid is so knowledgeable. So are you when you google it 😂😂 thanks again man!
Gracias Mario! If astrid and i lived in pv we would definitely check out Versailles … super chill area. We bring our cats to the vet there in fact Dr. Wolf
What do you think about have a curtain for under the cink? You can make it out of any cool material you want, even a beach towel. And change it whenever you want. Just an option for you.
The growing and processing of the vanilla beans is a crazy long process, wow. Hand-pollinating those flowers is crazy (the soundtrack was hilarious), I can't imagine having a farm full of vanilla trees. You named the pelicans, lol! Fun video. Oh, you put the suriname into a bowl of sugar, are you pre-sweetening them?
Nice video Shaun, I love watching the very custom builds here in Mexico, especially the flexibility “as you go changes lol”. Awesome! Hey are you still using your follow me camera while surfing? If so that’s very cool! Or maybe it’s Astrid lol either way awesome. Didn’t see you last night at the Swell Documentary Premiere, I was super impressed by what these guys produced. Anyway hope to see you around town!
Thanks Ron! This video was Astrid, but yes Im still using it! I wanted to see the movie but was busy finishing this episode . I need to get ur whatsapp
Thanks!

Gracias Francie Anne! Have a great domingo :))
Sound effects are cracking me up. Who knew the pollination process could be so fun!😊

@@ShauninParadise I think I've seen the name, near Artisan Bakery...I think. Only a 10 minute walk from our future home. Very cool!

It’s a great idea but the cats absolutely destroy hanging fabrics haha. We constantly had to replace some fabrics before hahaha
@@ShauninParadise forgot about cats doing that. We have a dog, doesn't chew nothing and truly is a great boy. Cheers Brother.

It was yogurt:) I intended to film myself eating it but battery 🪫 and then life haha
@@ShauninParadise Wow, thick yogurt! Hope you enjoyed it!
