I was watching the movie Airliner Sky Battle where 2 jetliners literally fight each other in the skies and now, I'm watching your video. Good view of I-15 and I-215 and Mt. San Antonio.
stunning??.....that is THE quintessential routine LAX approach done many dozens of time every day...... clickbait title?......yes, the skies are clear and all that!.....thanks for the post
Just because it's routine or normal doesn't mean it isn't awesome or stunning. If you fly into LAX with clear skies over the mountains and over the vast city and don't think it's stunning, then you've lost that spark of wonder and I am sorry for that my friend. It wasn't that long ago that our ancestors would've marveled at the thought of flying through the sky like a bird, let alone all the views and scenery that comes with it... So yeah, this is stunning and beautiful. I'm sorry you can't see that. Thanks for watching.
It is visible, it's just WAY smaller than you think form this distance haha. You can see it at 12:53. It's a tiny white dot on the hillside in the far distance. Basically follow that main north south road all the way to the hills and you can see it right above that.
It's so small at that distance that it just barely registers as a few pixels on my phone. The pictures that you usually see of the Hollywood sign are so imposing that you don't realize that is not very big when compared to the scale of the landscape seen from an aircraft.
First and great fly! Does your PikePass has ability to pay parking grange at the airport? My E-ZPass Massachusetts has ability to do that through E-ZPass Plus program with following locations: Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, NJ LaGuardia Airport, NY, NY JFK International Airport, NY, NY Albany International Airport, Albany, NY Atlantic City International Airport, Atlantic City, NJ New York Avenue Parking Garage, Atlantic City, NJ Atlantic Avenue Surface Lot, Atlantic City, NJ Great New York State Fair, Syracuse, NY (seasonal) although this is not an airport.
I post videos two different ways. One with the full entirety of the flight, including the airport and all kinds of shots of the aircraft, and then one like this where it is just the individual takeoff or landing shown. When it's just the takeoff or landing, the link to the full video with all of the shots you are requesting is always the very first thing listed in the description. Which in this case is: ruclips.net/video/E9frSAVosMA/видео.html This way, everyone gets what they like best.
I can appreciate and understand wanting less wing. The scenery is often beautiful and fun to look at. But, this is an aviation channel after all. The aircraft/wing will always be the focus, no matter how beautiful the scenery is. That said, I do try to feature a variety of seating positions so everyone ends up getting some videos with their presence featured. I'll be honest though, I kind of feel like the wing in this video is pretty much perfect. It takes up just about 1/4th of the screen, but you're still close enough to it to see it working. In the end, it is impossible to give everyone what they prefer on every video, but I try to keep it varied. Thanks for watching my friend!
Holy cow I hope pilotmaria ain’t flying with her bipolar disorder she might cause an accident I hope the FAA hurry with their investigation on mental health on pilots pilotmaria aka Maria Patterson should be investigated
Greetings From LA! Check out the cover of Tim Buckley classic album and read the reason why, while you’re there. It explains it. On the back of the postcard, where the stamp goes if I remember right. The geography is basically like n inverted bowl that keeps the smog firmly in place. I grew up knowing that. Thank Tim.
I saw that In-N-Out. Great place to watch planes land 😎
Wonderful video of AA A321 landing into LAX

Amazing vid
Belíssima Aeronave Belo Vídeo 📹 😊
Great!
Thanks my friend!
@@sla31 your always welcome man!
Nice work SP!👍👍
Hi great vid I’m leaving today and I’m excited to meet my grandparents and my dad’s sister
I hope you had a great trip my friend!
16:27 Interesting that they came to a complete stop here. Probably passing aircraft on the taxiway ahead.
What kind of equipment, if any, do you use to record such still and stable videos? 🤓
No secret formula here my friend. I film with iPhones (currently 14 Pros) and I hold the camera by hand.
@@sla31 😂😂 thank you! I wish I was as stable as you upon landings 😅 but thank you!!

👍
What runway did you land on? Because I don't recognize the area, and I'm familiar with LAX.
Looked like Runway 24R
@jamdiep99 that's why I don't recognize it, I'm more use to 25R/7L and 25L/7R
Where did they fly from
Phoenix, Arizona.
Phoenix, Arizona.
Where did this plane start?
Flight was inbound from Phoenix.
Is there a full flight video?
Yes, the link is in the description.
Why isn’t the Hollywood sign visible?
It is visible, it's just WAY smaller than you think form this distance haha. You can see it at 12:53. It's a tiny white dot on the hillside in the far distance. Basically follow that main north south road all the way to the hills and you can see it right above that.

What date was the flight and what seat?
Again, I’m on my phone right now and it’s hard for me to look that up and I don’t remember. All of that info is listed in the description.

Yes, in Oklahoma I can use it to pay for parking at TUL and OKC. But I don't have that ability at XNA or MCI.
Great video but the end it is incomplete not showing to the gate, that would have been even better.

Would be a lot better if you got a seat further away from the wing.
Something you should consider for many of your videos!

I used to live in LA. After traveling the world more I realize how lacking LA is in green spaces. Too much grey concrete.
Dear God! Look at the brown air! How can people live there?
They’re not living.. they’re subsisting!

What brown air? All I see is blue skies
How do they live there? Very well, thank you.
Briefly.
I would love the city of Angels... 🙂
Where did the plane come from?
This flight was from Phoenix.
