- It's high time I finally said thank you to Casey Neistat. Earlier this year Casey partnered up with Joby for something they were calling the 'ultimate creator contest.' Long story short, you could win a chance to make a video with Casey Neistat in New York! This is a massive bucket list item of mine so I had to enter!
I have been a big fan of Casey for a few years now and have been guilty of trying to make 'Casey Neistat style vlogs.' I have even (rather absurdly) once been described as a British Casey Neistat which is both very kind and borderline delusional. Either way this thank you to Casey has been a long time coming.

I saw someone I went to school with last week for the first time in about 15 years and she said "I thought you would have made it by now!", a comment based purely on me not being incredibly rich and on the cover of every magazine, regardless of the fact that I have actually made it, without being rich or famous but by being able to live comfortably through making films and videos. Da Iowan / well done on a great video on a great channel. I've never met you but I actively seek out and watch your stuff, as do many others. You've made it in my eyes.
Also, I got to meet Neistat a couple of weeks ago very briefly in NYC and got a peek through his office window, seeing some of the stuff on the wall IRL that I've seen on here for years. Such a lovely guy. You both are. Looking forward to your next video.

With that in mind congratulations on making it 😊I am a big fan of both yours and your brothers work so it means a lot that you enjoy mine.

You might not have the views you want just yet but those of us who do watch your videos certainly don't want you to stop, I'd be genuinely gutted if you did. You and Casey will be a top collab one day, can't wait for it! All the best for 2023 mate, those views are on their way, I can feel it!

Echoing a lot of other people's words here but your content is exceptional. I know people tend to throw out superlatives regularly nowadays but it truly is top drawer. The views and reach will get there.
People talk about your 'big break' but essentially you need a series of little breaks to push you to the next level. Keep ploughing away and most importantly make content you enjoy. I watch some youtubers who upload once a month doing stuff I'm not particularly interested in, but there's something fun about watching someone do something they're really passionate about and good at. This video is a great example of the bar you've set yourself going forward.

Another great video John. Congratulations on your success. Views aren't everything. The videos you do make people feel something and they connect with them on a deeper level. They have a message behind them, which is far more important than videos such as my own which may get more views a lot of the time. But people won't remember my videos, like they will yours. That's the real success of your videos and your channel as a whole in my opinion.
I appreciate that a lot but I don't want to make out that I feel my views are somehow superior to other views. It's almost impossible to measure audience connection! I guess what I was trying to get was the views aren't the only metric for success! I wanted to put out a message of hope for anyone who didn't feel their channel was where they wanted it to be

As a runner, enjoyed the video as well as your running. Always include things in your life that you do. You never know who may be watching that related to it and decides to comment because of it. It’s something AI can’t do.

If I'm being honest John your videos are good... but what doesn't draw me in to every one is you're too bloody nice. It's like if I have time I'll watch a video but with other video makers it because they may say something edgy, and thats appealing.
