Great movie. One question: Why the Russian army always shoots mainly in Full Automatic fire mode and sometimes in rapid fire in single fire and also in single and in 3 round bursts amdnin rapid fire in 3 round bursts?
It's based on doctrine i believe, west tries to make every bullet count. But its difficult to hit enemies just with single shots when you're getting shot at, 3-4 round burst give you a natural advantage, because you're sending more bullets in 1 go, increases chances of hitting enemies. That's what i think.

No helicopter can rearm inflight ;-P Not to mention the full color Shkval... With not very correct on screen display... But... To my surprise... We can also see REAL Shkval too... At 51:03
The cannon and the Vikhr pylons has electro-hydraulic actuators, all you need is battery power to operate them. And Vikhr is multi-purpose missile. It has two functions: 1. Anti-Tank task as you say with big tandem HEAT warhead. It is its default mode. 2. Secondary mode with fragmentation sleeve with secondary explosive charge meant for soft targets on ground and against low-level flying aircrafts. You select before launching the A-A mode and it will program the missile to use this fragmentation sleeve instead tandem HEAT (can't do that after launch). The A/A mode as well activates the Vikhr proximity fuze, so instead impact fuze like the AT mode uses, you need to get missile only 7 meters from the aircraft to get the Vikhr blow up, or you can launch it on group of soldiers or vehicle and get its fragmentation blow around you. And yes, the weapon loadouts gets changed between scenes. It is just typical movie problems where you make multiple different takes with all kind stuff and then in editing phase the editor use what ever they want to get the flick look nice. There very likely were takes where KA-50 launched the R-73 missiles to destroy that Mi-24 or there were takes where a fighter was sent against KA-50 and it destroyed it with R-73. You can as well see in the couple scenes that the KA-50 is made to fly over the enemy and all the special effects were made like it was shot by using two cannon pods. And the fake Shkval is just very common trick back in the time, normal movie camera used for take and then just overlay some fancy reticle (in this time instead a scope, a Shkval screen information) and get an idea that what there was shown on the screen. Would be nice to see a new modern movie with KA-50, KA-52 and some others.

I think this is available, just as the American helmet has Chinese chips. But the single version had to be replaced with a double one.
