Coach Cal is a great recruiter, an awesome coach but an even BETTER human!! Arkansas is LUCKY to have him just like we were for 15 years at UK!! I will still be a “Bleed Blue” UK fan…but I’m not gonna lie….ill also be watching, cheering for and following Arkansas Basketball now….because of him!
John Calipari is a great coach and even better person and when Kentucky isn't playing against Arkansas I'll be rooting for them GO BIG BLUE!!!

Bro I’m happy for Cal he could have left anytime he wanted he was the hottest coach in America for years and was turning down jobs a lot. But Cal left because he couldn’t handle the pressure and he couldn’t perform anymore but I still love Cal he brought our program back to where it should be without Cal we could be b Indiana or UCLA, but because of Cal kids still want to come to Kentucky because Cal made it cool again

I really believe the Ky fans made a mistake running this man off, I get it about winning championships, but the expectations considering how the game has changed, and how teams are better now, is just unrealistic to expect that, it was a mistake, this man had a good record at Ky considering today’s basketball landscape,I believe this man should of retired at Ky, I believe he wanted to, but this is not the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s when Ky was usually the team to beat, that time is gone, Pope seems like a nice guy and a decent coach, I just don’t believe he’s the right coach at this time and I believe that will come out soon enough, but lastly, I believe this whole scenario was and is a mistake.
