Time Management has always been a struggle. Trying to manage responsibilities, tasks, and ideas and figuring out how to determine what's actually important or not. But with a system for time management, it can be effortless, easy, and even enjoyable. I use a simple 3 part system, inspired by David Allen's Getting Things Done, to manage my busy life all inside Notion.
🙏 Thanks for watching!

- Unclosed thought loops lead to intrusive thoughts that affect our ability to be present.
- Collecting all open loops helps our mind focus and be more productive.
[01:54]
- Use an inbox to store thoughts and eliminate worries.
- Prioritize thoughts with cat time to avoid critical mass and increase productivity.
[02:55]
- Staggering task blocks limits critical mass and frees up brain space
- Simplified inbox sorting: actionable vs. idea, prioritize by importance and energy
[03:55]
- Filtering and categorizing tasks helps with clarity
- Assigning a specific time to tasks offloads from the mind

- Complete workstation on Notion comprising task management, knowledge management, habit tracking and study system
Thank you for your ideas😌
You're a god thank you
Truly thank you as well . I struggle i little more with complicated english .
I do the same steps since years ago and trust me, it’s soooo helpful. I like using timetree as my calendar to organize my to do lists for that day as I categorize them into different subjects, and use notion as a guide of a list of activities that are needed to get done and the time remaining before their deadline. So far so good except for the fact that I can’t help but procrastinate at times but at least I know what I have to make up for 😭
It's fine to procrastinate. We humans are not made to be productive 24/7.
The example given at the end makes stuff so much more clear
Glad to hear it! We want to make things as clear as possible
These videos have been pushing me through my last semester of law school 🙏🏼 I’m so much more passionate about learning again, plus both you guys are funny asl! Love the channel and the notion boards, plus you two guys! Keep it up 💪🏼🥇
Good luck! You got this and then the bar exam!!

U guys really dunno how much people u guys r helping by ur great videos❤❤❤❤❤
This is such great advice, I love the idea of “cat time” to process and get caught up with everything ❤
What I really like is that you instantly show how we can intergrate this strategy in our own life
Thank you so much ! I am far more better than my past self and I have improved so much by applying your tips Cajun koi academy !🎉😮 Thank you so much 💗
Let’s go!
Amazing techniques, surely gonna try them! I always had in mind that "collect the intrusive thoughts as a list while working n finish them later list" but never really got myself to apply it but after seeing the example tha you showed at the end of the video,I re realised it's effectiveness!👌🏻🔥
As i always say,Great-Quality content.🔥❤
I just stumbled upon your channel half an hour ago and I'm in love. I've only watched the video about tricking your brain and I tried taking it in small steps. I finished the essay I've been procrastinating on for days. Though I really hope you would avoid adding background music to your videos because it gives me trouble focusing as well as anxiety. The information you're providing is already golden, so the music isn't really contributing to the quality of the video. Hope you would take this into consideration, thanks! Keep going man
This is gold bruv. Thank you for sharing this!!
okay You have no idea how thankful I am for your help. Its almost 3 am and i am wildly sobbing because your introduction to the note app is the solution for all my problems-
Love your video man and appreciate you.
This is so dope! Def gonna try this out

Thanks a lot, rookie! Wishing you the best for your final half of law school!
How's the semester going, btw?
This just blew my ADHD brain. This is so smart, but the thought of me ever being THAT organized is hard to picture 😂
Don't try to do it 'all' at once. I began to make an effort 4 years ago (another ADHD thinker) - and I can't say I'm perfectly organised but it's certainly improved. For me, it began with organising my hall cupboard and focus on keeping it organised for a few months, nothing more. Then I did the living room cupboard ..... you get the drift. Now I'm starting on organising inboxesǃ and the cupboards are still okay (not perfect, mind, I use things). Best thing of all - friends have noticed I'm not as bad as I was😀
THANK U these are some nice tips!! gotta try them
i almost never comment on videos but just wanna let you know that this channel is awesome and useful thank you
Bro your notion templates are just wow!!!!!
Ayeee I’ve never been THIS early to one of your videos, love your content!! Always something valuable to take away from 😌:)

Mike or Matty, thank you so much for these pieces of useful advice, but I wanna know, what is the most ideal duration of a "cat time" then?
00:00 Implement the three C's framework for effective organization.
00:57 Our minds love to ruminate on open loops.
01:54 Organize thoughts with an inbox and prioritize with cat time.
02:55 Multitasking on 50 things is inefficient and dangerous for patients
03:55 Clear planning reduces procrastination
04:51 Implementing the Triple C framework for productivity.
05:46 Techno prioritizes his work by energy and urgency
06:44 Efficiently manage life with a complete workstation
BRO YOUR EDITING IS SOO GOOD WHO IS YOUR EDITOR?
Dude!! How did I catch this 15 minutes fresh!?! I needed this to start my day time management is always my largest weakness
Early birdy
Basically:
1. Write all ideas and tasks popping out of your mind.
2. Organize them by priority and difficulty (energy spent on it).
3. Make a daily schedule with those.
4. *Profit!*
Got it! 👌
Thanksyaa 🙆🏻♂️
collect(write tasks)
clarify (prioritize)-cat time times to do stuff
action-task
not action-idea
5 mins-do it
not 5 mins- prioritize importance and energy
ideas can be clarified too
calendar(decide specific time for task)
Thanks
Hi im not sure if you're gonna read this however i'll still be writing this. Im a Korean student that is studying overseas in Malaysia. I came here around when I was 7. Now as of im in 16 and in a year doing my IGCSE exam. Over the past few months things really haven't been going as what I hoped. After the MCO my life has pretty much been fucked up a whole new personality. As i've grew older my mind had always this question. "whats the point of life if im just gonna keep doing the same thing over and over again. As the time im writing this I have an exam in few hours currently its 2 in the morning and im scrolling through YT without actually revising or anything. Ive completely lost all my motivation what soever. My exams are in 1 year to be exact and as of its gonna come pretty quick. In the few months ive changed school and had a complete new life again which I SOMEHOW fucked up this one too. So yea ive decided to get my shit together again. Lifes hard o well cant do anything about it can we. My holidays are around the corner so im gonna try to fix my sleep schedule and so on no procrastination ( i have adhd so its harder ). To anyone who actually is reading this. You've got this it's not to late to start :))
Well, I'm an INDIAN student (17 years old) preparing for NEET UG which is a Medical Entrance Exam.............and My life is also hard, I've my exams coming in just one month and I didn't even completed atleast 40% of my syllabus And I don't know that what sh*t I'm gonna mark in OMR Sheet when I don't even know the answer........😅
But but but You really have a whole damn year for your exams right so, I'm gonna tell you that If possible don't waste it, because regret will eat you alive
I'm Suffering through that regret that's why I am telling you..............😇
And BEST OF LUCK I hope you will do it...🤗👍🏻

Hi, Joyce here 👋
Can you guys do a video on how to overcome slow processing speed ???
How to get this CCC task manager??
These fell like ai thumbnails. Keep up the great work!
thanx ,
My problem with my time management is that I finish all my tasks faster than I expected for the day that I have more time to waste (I'm getting bored maybe I'll work slower)
Strangely a good problem to have haha
Do u have study quest template
Hello, does anyone know how to build a Scratch Pad in Notion like in this video?
Can we get access to your time management template on notion,
it'll be much help.
I'm about to give up on all the progress I've made so far with my studies I have severe ADHD , what's the use of trying hard enough to learn and then forgetting everything? I have serious problems with long-term and recent memory, logical reasoning, frankly I've tried several techniques and none of them worked, if there are others that I don't know about please help me as possible.
I’ve never related so much, I could be doing one thing and I end up doing other stuff and forgetting what I was doing.
Hey do you have a template for notion?
It's not how you had time to work and study that blows me away... although even that seems impossible for me, I at least recognize that it's something normal people can do. It's how you do all that, PLUS learning how to expertly film and edit videos, plus the time to actually write and record them, plus how to decorate your room and having time to actually decorate it and keep it organized. Just learning how to do the filming/editing would be a full-time job for me. I just don't know what's wrong with me.
Edit: Just saw that you're also a musician/songwriter, somehow. I "studied" music (poorly) in college, and I think I've written 4 finished songs over the past 15 years. For you it's one of your multiple hobbies yet you still do it more than me.
Nice👍
GJ staying a doctor btw. From what I've seen, looks like most people that were becoming doctors that were on YT were clearly in it for the money since once their YT picked up, they didn't care about being a Dr. any longer and went fulltime YT. Probably for the best if it wasn't their true passion.
This guy talks like Jess from Gilmore girls. haha love these
How do you get the template? I don’t see it in the description. Or would it require some form of payment for the template?
Could you tell me what calendar app you use ?
My problem is that I have so many thoughts that I never pay my full attention to the video I'm watching for it's cure
Do you have the template you used for Idea Inbox in NOtion?
Is habitica good? @Cajun Koi Academy
Shit Relatable af
can we get this notion template?
I wish you showed what the actual calendar looks like, unless I missed it?
We are very early

Where do we find the time managment system on Notion?
Includes me 😄
Can you make a tutorial for this please? 🥺
uhh, does anyone know what the calendar app that he is using on his phone at 2:30 is called?😅
What calendar do you use in 2:34 ?
Is there a template for this?
And specifically for this video, is microsoft to do ok?@Cajun koi academy
where can we get the notion template?
An even easier way to clear your mind is simply to accept the fact that you can't be perfect, you can't remember everything, you can't achieve everything. Sure, you'll forget things, things will go wrong. But what's worse; having those intrusive thoughts have 15 minutes or running the risk of forgetting about doing them?
Just because you'll never be perfect doesn't mean you should give up trying to improve. Heck, having an "inbox" declutters the mind because you don't have to remember a million things that you need to do because you've written them all done. And once they have been written down you can prioritise your life and get round to them whenever you need to.
@@potapotapotapotapotapota that too 🫦
Who’s the artist for your RUclips Thumbnails?

Heyy i'm early 🖤
I'm first 🎉
Yes you are!!

Biggest fan of yours and thankyou so so much for inspiring me because i wanna be a doc just like u guys 🖤
Don’t forget to book in some mental downtime. If you don’t you will get burnout. It happens to me about once a week. I hit a wall and productivity goes to 0, I rest and recoverer for a short period of time. Then I’m back at going at 💯 again.
Way different than my intrusive thoughts. Example: should I leave the gas stove on at this party and leave?
I need that microwave
How do I get that Notion template please?
Where can I find this template?
How is it possible for the microwave to be at that time?
