This wasn't a dream but, you'll see... Years after my father passed away, I was walking down a city street, approaching an alleyway. In my head, I heard my dad's voice say, "Sharp left," in his drill sergeant voice; a voice that made grown men tremble, but made me roll on the floor in fits of laughter, when I was little. Spontaneously; playfully, I made a sharp left, into the alley. At that moment, a car came barrelling out of the alley and directly onto the street, without stopping. Had I not turned into the alley, that car would've hit me. I believe whole-heartedly, that that was your dad. ~ From one old cougar to another. ;)
Dear Coco, Greetings from Ohio! I really enjoyed this quite philosophical story that you have shared with us today! And since we're talking about dreams/nightmares that we have had, I thought I would share one with you...I told you a few weeks ago about an experience that I had while I was planting flowers after my mother passed away, about how she visited me. This one is something that happened almost four years after she died...One night I was having the horrible, horrible nightmare. In this nightmare, my mom and I were having the most horrific argument that just went on and on. Nothing like this had ever happened in life and that's probably why it was such a shocking experience...But it was just so vivid! It got so bad that it woke me up, and I sat right up in the bed, eyes wide open!!! I turned toward the clock and suddenly realized that if I didn't get up right that second, I was going to be late for work. At that moment, it was more than obvious to me that that nightmare was mom's way of waking me up so I wouldn't be late for work, because she knew how much I hate that...She knew me like a book and knew this would do it!!! This is something that I will never forget, and it only reinforces my belief that there is more than just this one plain of existence that we call life! I hope you have a wonderful evening. And thanks for all you do for us! We love you so much!!!
Sensitive/ creative people often have prescient or vivid dreams. It's great. Your Dad gave you a great gift. I once dreamed that my grandfather died, woke up screaming, hysterical, insisted my parents call him at 2am. he was fine. Next day learned that my other side of the family grandmother had died in the night [when I was screaming/ shouting]. So the message came to me but I got crossed wires. Be they our mind creating it or a loved one trying to help us in a way is irrelevant to me,but all I know is that my Salvatore would come to me knowing I was struggling without him. I am aware modern day activists sometimes cringe at what I just said,but it is not that I saw myself as second to him. True strength means when you are lucky enough to meet someone do not hesitate to become one with them,you will still have your solo strength if they are taken from this world. One night he came to me just to hold me,I was at my rope's end ,he had died,all my friends same,there was no escape from the pain. So I like to see my dream as my Salvatore doing what your dad did,telling me he saw me as so strong and to utilize that. Strength is not limited to a battlefield in the traditional sense, so this little thing truly rocked! Does Rafael know he has a Cougah!
I love when you call us Coco puffs . I look forward to it each video . You have truly lifted me up since you started these videos . I had an episode of sleep paralysis one time . The most frightening thing I’ve ever experienced . I couldn’t move anything but my eyes . There was a demon next to me whispering in my ear all these horrible things . I was so scared . I started saying the Our Father and slowly the feeling came back and the demon was gone . I’ve read that these episodes are caused by neurons misfiring , but it was so real to me .
I think dreams are an alternate reality. So many dreams I’ve had have been so incredibly vivid and lifelike, sometimes more real than my real life. On a side note: My mother (who at one time had been a Franciscan nun) use to love to go to mass at St. John the Divine in NYC. She said it was her favorite church ever. Years later My husband and I went to the cathedral and I realized it was really an Episcopal church, not Catholic. My mom, who was super Catholic, like mass better at the Episcopal church!

In her dream she saw her grandson who had passed away in his 20s. He was smiling, happy and telling her that he was in a good place. But he told her, Grandma, you have to get up now and come walk with me. And she woke up to find that she had pulled out the port they had left in her stomach and was bleeding profusely! So he probably saved her life by waking her up 😢😢😢

You could interpret it as you finding your spirit animal, which was delivered by your father, or your brain using a very familiar figure (your father) to assure you that whatever obstacle(cougar) you were encountering at the time, was going to be resolved. I've always had vivid dreams and nightmares. I can still remember one I had when I was just 5yrs old. Nowadays when I have them something always snaps me out of them. I've always had vivid dreams and nightmares. I can still remember one I had when I was just 5yrs old. Nowadays when I have them something always snaps me out of them. Maybe we do have loved ones that watch over us and can sense when we have fear, even if it's only in a dream. They snap it out us, lol
Anyways, I have been a fan of your videos for years. Thank you for posting your thoughts everyday to keep us entertained. It's like hearing stories from a friend. Love you Coco

"You have the gift of bullshitting." My husband says that about me. Of course he always says the hurried I am the farther behind I get. Everywhere we go he always says I know someone, no matter how small. But I also have the gift of gab. I get it. He compares me to his father, who sadly died of Alzheimers. He always calls me Bob when we are in public and I see someone I know. Because inevitably THIS OLD COUGAR will inevitably find something to speak about. And isn't that grand?
I have recurring dreams where I bump into or find myself with Madonna and she talks to me about things like we've hung out for years....but then again we have with as much as I listen to her music.....so if she's my spirit celebrity...I'll take it...
