Coco, you inspire us all. When you spoke of the sun breaking through enshrining you in light, it reminded me of a Pride march in Lansing, Michigan. It was a misty day, slightly overcast, listening to John Waters speaking from the step of the capital and suddenly the sky lightened just a bit creating a perfectly formed rainbow surrounding the sun. It felt as though God was smiling down upon us all. That day, I will never forget.

You were making people aware of the AIDS crises in late 80s and early 90s. You embraced the AIDS cause with your entire heart and soul. I believe that to be drag you must be talented, and honey you are. Your shows are funny and interesting. You are very humble about you. I see other drag Queens who are not funny, and zero talented who uses too much foul language. Ms Coco, my boss asked me last week 'how do you exceed expectations?' I think it's 100% taking care of the 'little things'.. listening, sitting with someone who is alone, writing a note, helping someone make a call, just remembering someone's favorites and bringing them each day, sharing stories and straightening up the room. People like to be 'known' and it's really special to get to know people. Loving people is a special skill and I can see that you clearly love people. That makes you different and GRAND and So Special ; )
