I worked with her on an HBO Movie called APOLOGY and she was an absolute delight to hang out with between set-ups - Victoria/Victoria always makes my day -- And you -- of course -- are always spectacular!
I just watched this movie, again, last night! There are so many great lines in this movie. Having dated Spanish men, the line "No, I am not Thenior Gometh from Barthelona" always cracks me up.
I had the same reaction when I first saw VV at the movies all those years ago. It's still one of my all-time favourites. I got to see VV on Broadway with Julie Andrews...and met her after the show at the stage door. Leslie Ann Warren is brilliant in the film. As she is in Clue and so many other films... her comedic timing is always spot on. ❤️
I'm 53, and V/V is my favorite movie of all. I also saw the play in NYC w/ Julie and it was GRAND! Thanks for the lipsyc as it was also GRAND. HUGS to COCO! - Michael
Victor Victoria was a coming of age movie for me as well. I also saw it with my parents when I was very young and at that moment I knew! I knew who I was! ....and I was fabulous! 😉❤
One of my all-time favorites and one that I could watch over & over again and quote every line, along with "Clue" (also with Leslie, go figure!). I think it must have been my first introduction to a movie with gay characters, too :)
I absolutely adore Victor/Victoria! I first saw it in the theater with my mom when I was nine years old, and it's still one of my favorite movies/musicals. I was just floored by the performances and the characters, I was completely mesmerized! 😊💜
Miss Coco Peru I just needed to tell you that because of this video I watched Victor/Victoria for the first time and FELL IN LOVE with the movie. I've had Le Jazz Hot running through my head for weeks. Thank you for being you! We LOVE you!!!
One of my all time favorites... And, You killed it! I saw no flubs.... You are fabulous and lovely. Thanks for this reminder... I’m going to play Le Jazz Hot now!!!
V/V...James Garner, Alex Karras, Robert Preston, all rumoured to be ''coming out'' doing the movie, as Hollywood began to accept it's gay people and characters. I met one of them when I was living in Venice, I can say, the Biggest Star had the BiGGest.........
I worked with Lesley Ann Warren on the film "Going All the Way" and she was an absolute angel. I have always been a big fan of hers and was absolutely terrified to finally meet her (you know what they say, never meet your hero's) but she exceeded all my expectations and I came away happy that every wonderful thought of her I had was positively true.
ahh Leslie Ann Warren - Loved her as Cinderella as a Child watching the CBS Special Live Presentation of Cinderalla.....this lil gay boy was mesmerized..
I took your advice and watched Victor/Victoria this morning..... imagining you, a young Coco watching it in the theater for the second time made it all that much better. A real treat on this Thursday morning amidst the ship and shenanigans we're weathering lately.
OMG OMG OMG.... My favorite movie EVER... I always hoped one day you would talk about this.. .Well God dammit... I need that plate... "Oh Shit.!" :D This is Coco Gold. GOLD... Did ya hear me? GOLD! I saw Julie Andrews live in 1989... and gave her some roses and a letter, and she wrote me a nice letter back, with an autograph... Oh my Gosh... she is what she is... Julie Andrews is such a sweetheart. GOLD Coco! This is GOLD! :D =M=
Years before Victor/Victoria I knew Lesley Ann from Cinderella 1965, The Happiest Millionaire 1967 and The One and Only, Genuine Original Family Band 1968 and from her being Jon Peters first wife.
I've got this one recorded on my DVR from TCM this summer. I've watched it over and over and over again. Perfect cast all around!!! My fav line from Norma , " it's a viscous cycle"...I say it all the time and it's pretty apropos for the times..😂😂🤣
New fan because of Garret’s video a decade ago. More videos, please. I see you and you’re beautiful. I get the gag and would love to see more of you. Love on love on love!
Ms Coco Thank you one of my favorite movies. You did a wonderful job! I love Leslie-Ann as well, first saw her in a movie clip as Cinderella with Stuart Damon from 1965, fell in love with her then. I just love watching you on RUclips, and the first time I saw you was in the movie Too Wong Fu then Trick. Thank you for making me smile.
So lovely. I am sure Lesley Ann is smiling. A fun tribute. When Lesley Ann was 18/19 in Cinderella; you only have to look at how she charms the camera (and with good direction), a truly gifted performer. I, too, felt her performance was deserving of the golden boy in V/V; still we know it's talent that shines. I watched the 1965 production of Cinderella on RUclips and it was not meant to be a comic moment, yet seeing her say, to Celeste Holm appearing as the Fairy Godmother: "Who Are You?" cracked me up.
I've loved her since 1977's Harold Robbins' 79 Park Avenue mini-series! I was a teenager then. She's a wonderful and awfully underrated actress!!! Gorgeous and talented!
Omg, Coco thankyou for making my day again. Im still kissing my phone at night to you. Hope you and Raff are both well living with that thing thats killing yr country and i dont mean covid. I pray nature daily that he goes, then goes to jail. I love you, stay safe if you need any masks let me know. I sewed my queens costumes so have lots of fabulous fabrics. All our love from Australia 🖤💛❤👩🏿🎤👬👭👨👩👧👦👫😷✌🙋♀️🤗🤗🤗🍀
PHILIPS released a CD with additional soundtrack songs that were not on the original soundtrack album... Do you have it? If not, get that! :D Gold Coco, Gold... :D =M=
When seeing you at the make-up mirror in To Wong Foo, or was it Priscilla?, my first thought was, "I hope She has done Victor/Victoria onstage. She would be Perfect!" This is close enough to my dream
I feel like Lesley Ann Warren doesn’t get the level of appreciation that she should.
That’s the exact line I was thinking of when I wrote that. Haha
I fell in love with her when she starred in Cinderella on TV ... magical!!
100%
I've said since I was a child that Victor/Victoria is my favorite movie of all time.
Robert Preston is so amazing.
And who didn't love Leslie Ann Warren when she was Cinderella❤ Coco, you didn't screw it up....your still FABULOUS💘
I worked with her on an HBO Movie called APOLOGY and she was an absolute delight to hang out with between set-ups - Victoria/Victoria always makes my day -- And you -- of course -- are always spectacular!

Hope Lesley Ann saw this and was very proud of you, Coco!
Lesley was popular when I grew up - she was talented. I needed this to start my day 😍
One of my all-time favorites and one that I could watch over & over again and quote every line, along with "Clue" (also with Leslie, go figure!). I think it must have been my first introduction to a movie with gay characters, too :)
Really great rendition of a classic song and film and musical. Well done
I absolutely adore Victor/Victoria! I first saw it in the theater with my mom when I was nine years old, and it's still one of my favorite movies/musicals. I was just floored by the performances and the characters, I was completely mesmerized! 😊💜
My favorite Leslie Anne Warren lines from Victor/Victoria are "Pookie... Pookie. I'm horny!" and "Lock the door!"
Miss Coco Peru I just needed to tell you that because of this video I watched Victor/Victoria for the first time and FELL IN LOVE with the movie. I've had Le Jazz Hot running through my head for weeks. Thank you for being you! We LOVE you!!!

I love that movie! I must have been 5 or 6 the first time I saw it, and of course I didn’t get it, I just LOVED it!
V/V...James Garner, Alex Karras, Robert Preston, all rumoured to be ''coming out'' doing the movie, as Hollywood began to accept it's gay people and characters. I met one of them when I was living in Venice, I can say, the Biggest Star had the BiGGest.........

The musical itself is flawless just like yourself Miss Coco
That was amazing! As a gay boy in the 80s, I saw this on tv and was enchanted. I just love you and so glad you're getting better with your shoulder.
Sweetie, you have got to star in a musical! Soon...
The ad campaign was really funny, too. It ran A LOT.
I Love, love this movie too and you are Grand grand for telling the kids to watch it. thanks
Your videos are my favorite escape. Thank you Coco.
One of my favorite movies hands down!!💙💙💙

Saw it opening weekend, and dragged all of my reluctant friends every weekend for several months..
Years before Victor/Victoria I knew Lesley Ann from Cinderella 1965, The Happiest Millionaire 1967 and The One and Only, Genuine Original Family Band 1968 and from her being Jon Peters first wife.

Thanks for the much needed laugh today, Coco! 😸 I think you know that Henry Mancini won the Academy Award for Best Score for V/V. Well deserved!
I'm from Chicago Illinois. My kind of town.
This was my first gay movie. But I was 30. That was in the year 2000. You are such a delight. 💋
Still the best, Coco! You are going strong!!!!!
When you said you were twelve, you made me feel so OLD! LOL! LAW was so funny in that movie. You two have the W&G connection now :)
