It would need to come with: two signature wigs (minimum), 4-5 daywear dresses, 3 eveningwear dresses, several stylish purses, and a very tiny tea serving set with a miniature box of tension tamer and a teeny tiny Panettone for holiday fun.💖💖💖

When I was little, I got two GI Joe's for Christmas, one had short blond hair and a beard and the other had short black hair with a scar on his cheek, complete with full uniforms and kit. My older sister had Barbie dolls with a house and RV. She out grew them, so I took over. Long story short...my GI Joe's lived together in Barbie's Dream House. They were very happy.

Your comment about “ close your legs “ brought me back to Catholic grammar school. As a young girl in fourth grade, I was apparently and unintentionally “manspreading.” A nun called me out in front of the whole class..” close your legs, we can all see from here to kingdom come.” All these years later I can still remember the mortification. Gotta love those Sisters Of Charity. “ 🤗

A lovely friend of mine, Owen, used to always say “Bye for now”. He’s been the only person in my life to use that salutation. He was almost 25 years older than me and passed away early last year. I always liked when he said it because it conveyed that we’d be back together soon. I find myself saying it now too and always think of him when doing so.

I have a little thing that means a lot me that I'd liked to share that I never thought it was a big thing until i started watching these Thoughts while in solitude videos. A long time ago I went to beauty school and I had the greatest Cosmo teacher, well I went on to become a Cosmo teacher also and he went on to become a Cosmo test rater. One day he sent me a Facebook message saying, "Belle, I had one of your students come in to test and she spoke very highly of you and I want you to know that im very proud of you." To this day I don't know who that student was but that little message meant so much to me. I still have that message and when I'm feeling down sometimes I go back to read it and it makes me feel better.

Being a tomboy I wasn't into dolls and we were poor, but I did have a little teddy bear.....fast forward to today - I enjoy movie/tv dolls that crack funny one liners.... As an owner of a rooster I still laughed at your comments about the rooster. I have learned to listen to his crow. Now, just like a mom can tell by their baby's cry as to what they want, I can tell by his crow what he wants. Now granted it's mostly want of food and crowing because he's happy, but their's a difference. Maybe during this crazy time, you can listen to his crowing and see if you can tell the differences. OR start google searching to see if roosters are allowed in your neighborhood. Either way, it will be a time killer that will get us through another day of this confinement :D

So fun. My favorite toy of ALL time was a plush tiger...he came in an Easter basket when I was maybe 7 or 8. We were traveling somewhere and staying at a Holiday Inn. The basket was wrapped with colored cellophane and was hidden behind the drapes in our hotel room. For some reason this Holiday Inn had a pool in the middle courtyard of the hotel and it was completely filled in with dirt and had pine trees and everything planted in it. Even at a young age I thought that was creepy. Anyway back to the tiger. This tiger, you could wind him up and inside was a music box that played the song Tiger Rag, all while his head moved in a small circle. Not like the Exorcist, but to the right, then down, then left, then up....repeat. I loved him more than I can possibly say. I believe that when I was away at college, he was tossed or sold in a garage sale. I’m 56 and would give almost anything to have him and hold him again ❤️❤️😢

I still have my first teddy bear, Deborah, as ragged as she is. She is gray with rusted metal eyes, one ear smaller than the other from washing, a huge scar on the back of her head where I restuffed her (oh, April, why there and not on a seam?) and piss-poor sewing hand pad replacements that I also did, but I still LOVE her. Even though I'm 58, there are still the rare occasions when I sleep with her for comfort. 🐻

never into girl dolls, but I loved my GI Joe dolls...the buzz cuts, blond and black, the boots and camo, and especially when shirtless, did something for me...something I didn't understand at the time. it was my intro to hot man on man action...well, as much action as a 5 year old could muster with butch dolls.

This was such a wonderful story. When I imagine the look on this young boy's face not only because he was so thrilled to have received these dolls but he knew that his mom understood and was letting him know it was okay. These dolls were a sign did she loved him and celebrated him as he was. You are a saint Coco. Sharing your story ensured that this young gay boy didn't have to pretend to his mother does she was someone else. Imagine his being able to ask honestly for the gifts he wanted and Trust he would find something that he loved inside. I would love to have all of these stories in book form to pick up and peruse, don't you just love puns that come out of nowhere. Anyway it would be nice to pick it up when I'm having a bad day and glance through. I love you too Coco. Big hugs.

It didn't take long for me to undress him and meet up with one of my first disappointments in life (lol) but then my mother took the doll away saying: "We're pacifists and against war in this house." My dad wouldn’t allow me to have dolls, but my grandmother, his mum, who I would stay with a week in London each summer would let me have dolls. And no one messed with my nan, she had dress up clothes for me with skirts, necklaces, high heels. I remember when I was about 5 years old, we were on the bus, and some woman said to my Nan “the youngsters should let adults have a seat” when we got off my Nan, said to her “now sit down before I fucking knock you down!”

Loved this! My older brother (straight as board) and I had all of the GI Joe's including the helicopter, campers, trucks, etc. Well THANK GOD I had older sisters who had all the Barbie stuff. Not the 70's Barbies but 60's Barbies along with Skipper. I would secretly go and play with those Barbies by myself and when I got caught, I would grab a GI Joe and say it's his girlfriend and it became okay. Thankfully my brother was a blockhead jock so he believed me. Oh, lastly, I live on the East Coast of Maine (near Ogunquit) so I hear you first thing in the morning while drinking my coffee. It's a ray of light in my morning ritual. Love you Coco. xoxoxo

    Dear Coco,
Thank you. I don’t know how to articulate properly how much I look forward to your videos and what they’ve begun to represent.
It’s something that I look forward to and honestly, it’s one of the few constants in my day. I appreciate your commitment to this project, especially on days I’m sure you feel like shit. I only hope that the love we send back is just as comforting and reassuring to you as well.
You are, like it or not, a role model. To me you have become a symbol for perseverance, positivity and generosity. Thank you again, for sharing so much of yourself with us.
Egads! When the fuck did I become such a mushy (insert any appropriate noun)?
    Much love,
    Nica

I love listening to you before sleeping too! We (your listeners) are so smart to seek you out for a listen to those “little things in life” stories you tell us. You’re a shining gem in a surreal world of stress and worry.

I always wanted the Barbie vehicles. It would have been a lot more fun than just matchbox cars.

I want to leave something with you that was on my feed this morning … hope you all enjoy :)
    Good morning 🌹
(Elena Mikhalkova, "The Room of Ancient Keys")Grandma once gave me a tip:
During difficult times, you move forward in small steps.
Do what you have to do, but little by bit.
Don't think about the future, not even what might happen tomorrow. Wash the dishes.
    Take off the dust.
    Write a letter.
    Make some soup.
    Do you see?
You are moving forward step by step.
    Take a step and stop.
    Get some rest.
    Compliment yourself.
    Take another step.
    Then another one.
You won't notice, but your steps will grow bigger and bigger.
And time will come when you can think about the future without crying.
