I’ve been trapped in a house for nearly a month with my MOTHER and I look forward to these videos every day. I know things could be much MUCH worse for me and these videos have helped me stay mindful of that... and I’ve also started to focus on the little, yet positive, changes I’ll be making in my life because of this quarantine. Thank you so much for making these videos. We love you, Coco!!
I have been furrlowed from my regular job and am currently working a temporary job at a grocery store. Seeing these videos at the end of a chaotic day puts a smile on my face. Thank you Coco.
OMG...Please be safe and remember, even though there are nasty people that come in there, we appreciate what you are doing. Without people like you, we'd be fucked....Thanks again...
Coco, I have loved watching these videos over the past few days. I am a teacher and I get my joy and purpose from giving the drive to learn to my students. And I haven't had that, and won't have it again until August. These videos remind me of the small things I've garnered from them and from others in my life - the small things truly do matter. Please keep sharing your wisdom with us, I look forward to it every day!
You're the Sparkle ! my partner had his knee replaced, the rehab people were angels and I wanted to show my appreciation more than just donuts or cookies, so I handed out sparkling star stickers with a very heart felt thanks. and it caught on, everywhere I go, when I see people being nice to each other, Stars! Smiles! get lots, from Coco Peru !!
This is such a beautiful story. The trans community is often ignored and marginalized within our own society. They are the T in LGBTQ. They were on the battle line of Stonewall.
Where is the video of the other female teacher you were going to tell us about Coco? You have to share it and not just tease us/me about it!... Please Coco.. tell me...
There is another one about her chemistry teacher. Listen to them all in order. Every one is beautiful, happy sad truly inspiring. This I look forward to these daily
Another excellent story! I can’t wait until the world lives without labels. I get that folks are proud of where they are from, but it’s more important where you are going. You can’t go back. Let’s just go forward, live without labels, and just be people.
Thank you very much Coco for all of your uplifting thoughts during this tough time for all of us. I can't tell you how many times, including today, I've shed a little tear listening to your stories. You are an inspiration to me, and so many others. XO
“Slash, shit heap” Laughed out loud. When I can’t sleep and my mind starts ruminating, a bit of Coco just lifts my spirits and I fall back to sleep in a lovey happy slumber. Coco, YOU are my Tension Tamer ! ! !
Was anyone else reminded of Hedwig's story about the divorcee at the beginning of Hedwig and the Angry Inch? This is like the real life version of it! What a lovely story! Thanks for sharing it with us, Miss Coco, as well as all the others you've been sharing!
I watch these videos in the morning by myself to start off my work day and then share them at night with my wife as a way to end the day on a happy note. Coco is our shining ray of hope and laughter :)
When I can't fall to sleep right away I count Coco's list of things to be thankful for. Sometimes I forget a few but who cares it keeps my mind busy and a way from the outside world. Thank you. Stay safe, stay well.
I absolutely LOVE, Coco Peru’s videos. They are usually my go to, for when I need to laugh. But now, her current series about ENJOYING THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE, are my go to, for a dose of warm, funny, daily gratitude. These may be a product of the shelter in place order. But they are also, a SILVER LINING, to the very dark cloud that’s looming over us right now. I look forward to these everyday. Thank you, Coco! ❤️
Ms. Coco I know you don’t get a chance to read all your comments but I hope you’ll read this one to let you know what a godsend you are not just in these crisis times (which is also true) but in everyday life. Not only are you hysterically funny but I believe you always have the right thing to say...words of wisdom if you will...that anyone can take and use to make their own lives happier. Thank you for your posts. I hope someday I can see one of your live shows like the women you mention in this story.
Beautiful story! A wonderful, fun loving and kind lady from my church died of covid19 yesterday. I was so shocked as she is the first person I've known who has had it. It made it so real for me. Rest in peace, Lynn. Love you, Coco - hearing you tell your stories really does help.
Hi Miss Coco! All I can say is You put the sparkle in our lives with these wonderful stories, l look forward to these every day, yep, raining here in Orange too, but I love the rain, so stay sparkly yourself, we love you, hugs from Orange County 💞💞💞🌧☔
thank you again coco anxieties are building at least for me and your thoughts while in solitude help and please tell me you watched will and grace tonight it was the best and helped too!!!! thank you coco your a blast
Oh Coco how you bring so much joy to us each day with your precious stories! Wish I could hug you! These daily recordings are fabulous! To be able to share such meaningful times & sentimental objects is touching us deeply! From the Martian money to the gold scarf, PLEASE keep sharing with us!😉 You are LOVED! 💜💙 #staysafe 💖🌻🌺🌼🌟
Oh my God, You are so " plucking" funny. Your voice is so down to earth, and comforting. I feel like I've known you my whole life. We are so blessed to have you, Miss Coco.
Yet another wonderful story dear Coco. I think there's a very important lesson here and that is to never underestimate devalue Cub sharing your experience strength and hope with other people. You never know when what you have to offer can touch someone's life so deeply. The therapeutic value of one human being helping another truly is without parallel.
War brides! This is going to be great. The story thereafter tells it all. Coco, you are so honestly genuine and never cease to amaze with the experiences from your life that you share with us. The internet is so polluted with shit, but your channel makes wading through all of it worth the journey. Thank you my dear; always and forever!
Coco I love these videos so much they are truly the highlight of my day . Thank you so much for taking the time each day to cheer us up. So much love to you xxx
I love this story so very much. Thanks again, Coco Peru, for your heartfelt insightful brilliance! You are shedding light on so many needful people, including me. XOXO
Coco: That story made me weepy, like the woman who talked to you. Thank you. Please keep these videos coming. They are therapy for me. I'm very grateful to you. Big Hugs and Irish kisses (more tongue than a French kiss).
You have the gift and the generosity to give us this "sparkle" and I will always be grateful and remember you (also as a much needed good company in these uncertain times). Thank you :)
Once again you TRULY ARE an INSPIRATION!!!! HOW MANY people have told you this??? Even if ONE person says it......well you can believe it "sort of" HOWEVER when MORE than one tells ya that.....weeeeeeeell kinda means that YOU ARE!!!!! 😉🥰🥰🥰 Keep on with the stories because they are AMAZING!!!!
Coco, it's been raining here in Pennsylvania too. Very difficult to get motivated to work. Would you consider doing a house tour video? Just a thought. I hope that doesn't bother you. 😀😀😀
you made me laugh so hard Coco- was listening to this video and fiddling around in my closet. Turned to look at the screen for a minute and saw the mannequin head, wig & scarf- was really shocked and thought MY GOD this staying at home is really taking a toll on Coco! hahahahaha you are gorgeous, my mistake. Love you so much stay shiny like your scarf XO Tina
Thank you Miss Coco 💖 You just never know, do you? I sometimes catch myself worrying what someone might be thinking about me. (plot twist: they're probably NOT) I recently read this somewhere: "It's none of your business what other people think of you" 😊 I like it.
I hope you come to Provincetown this summer (saw you last summer), love your stories, you are a very authentic, sparkly, person. Keep the your thoughts coming, they mean so much.
YES! KEEP TELLING YOUR STORIES!!!! You’re an excellent storyteller and I could listen to you all day. Maybe this woman was more than just an ordinary woman. You never know when you might be entertaining someone more than...
Audiences are interesting. Sometimes individuals pop out just sitting there and other times the audience is one collective personality. I’ve heard actors come off stage and say, “They are dead out there tonight,” but in fact they aren’t reacting as much because they are listening so intently. Especially older audience members. Well, that was a great story. I’m sure the lady with the scarf still thinks of you too.
I can still hear my Mom saying, "Bobbie, you can't judge a book by its cover" I've done it a million times throughout my life and most times it was nothing as I expected. Love your story and the scarf you were given as a reminder of that wonderful day. Also, if I haven't thanked you, I want to let you know how much I love your stories and your thoughts and experiences you've had throughout the years. Your videos help me survive my day and most of the time I walk away smiling. 🙏
I love this series so much.
Thanks Coco for that story, that’s why I love you so much.
Ikr 🙂

I know you probably love your mother, but jeeze, my heart goes out to you!
I also watch these daily with my mother😊
I am also trapped w my 73 year old mother and at this point coronavirus is beginning to look like an attractive option.
I hope to God/Buddha/Alah/Judy Garland that these videos continue long after the quarantine is lifted. They tickle me.
I have been furrlowed from my regular job and am currently working a temporary job at a grocery store. Seeing these videos at the end of a chaotic day puts a smile on my face. Thank you Coco.
ZacherlJem Stay safe! Sorry about your furlough.
OMG...Please be safe and remember, even though there are nasty people that come in there, we appreciate what you are doing. Without people like you, we'd be fucked....Thanks again...
Isn't coco the best!?
I would give you a standing ovation any day Miss Coco.

Yeees pleaseee! It would be awesome 🖤

@@washkoskat No, the one about the teacher who knocked the shit out of a student...we want that one.
Yes please, I need that story about the Art teacher..... I was a HS art teacher for 20 years and know I will be cheering
Ms Franics the art teacher. We're erecting a monument to her.
Another excellent story! I can’t wait until the world lives without labels. I get that folks are proud of where they are from, but it’s more important where you are going.

"I dunno... SHIT HEAP." XD
Thank you for doing these videos for us Miss Coco. Love from Canada!
First of all, that's one fabulous scarf. And the story behind it makes it 100 times more fab than that. The little things ARE the big things.
I haven’t heard the term “War-Bride” in years!!!! I love it and you!!!
Always precious.
Another lovely memory. You are amazing in how you hold on to things that are attached to something important in someone’s life. Yours, or theirs. 💕
Thank you for the inspiring words!❤️❤️❤️

Which racist thumbs downed this video?!
It bothers me.
What in the world could race have to do with it?
Ken Hollis It’s a joke, but as you didn’t get it..maybe they don’t like red heads! 😄
Your remembrances are just marvelous, you are an awesome storyteller. I hope you will write your memoirs someday

Does War Brides refer to the AIDS crisis
@@cecilyerker bless you, no, it's a phrase given to women who married during ww2. Basically, Coco meant they were very old.
Thank You for sharing your beautiful stories! Many of them have brought tears to my eyes! Thank You!
