Coming home on weekends or on leave and trying to see old friends I grew up with, only to hear they were dead, in prison or so addicted they werent allowed back at their parents house. had a buddy i was friends with since 5th grade. i used to get bullied real bad and he was the first person to stand up for me. he taught me a lot growin up. it was crazy how much i looked up to someone just a few months older than me. we both came from fucked up families, we started to get in a bag tryin to make it out and he ended up getting arrested back in november one night. they found some new evidence that could lead to him getting out soon. i pray for him and i hope to god he still makes it out alive.
