Maintenance is job #1 to keep your machines in good working order. Good video. I liked it! The dam is looking great.
Thanks Jimmy! I'm happy it's finally finished and "Erosion Resistant " now 😁
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Thanks very much Stanley!
Thanks for showing us the service on the machine go's to show its not just about the digging or lifting and yes left side view would be better nice Tunes as well keep no digging on day you will have it where it won't wash away Cheers for now catch on your next one
I know David is proud of his dad.
Thank you very much David 🙏
That looks good, hope you have no more problems now.
Thanks Kirk, we just had a 3" rain storm and all went well 👍
Cute Misty 🐈⬛️
Very! :-)
Howdy southern homestead
Hey Tugboat 👋
Howdy Scott well the washout was bad the 36 inch overflow pipe kinda turned on you the storm was a bad one but you’re putting it back together great looking good and the maintenance on skid steer was good you know when you hit the lining up of the two plug holes i think David was there too lend a hand still looking real nice out there though nicely done 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Hey Kevin, thank you! Yes I agree David helped me get that done 🙏🙏🙏
Good video and SHS pitcher 🍺
Thanks Kev! 🍻
Great video Scott, I like watching the progress you’re making, even with all the setbacks you have, but could you change the position of the camera in the Yanmar? Put it over your left shoulder like you do with the kobelco? We can see what the bucket is doing then?
Thanks Gotty, the problem with the Yanmar is there is nothing metallic on the left side for the magnetic mount and the glass is curved so you can't use a suction mount...frustrating...
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio superglue or silicone sealant!
What is the old adage if this equipment doesn't run you don't work great video thanks Scott maintenance is number one
Thanks Gary! For sure, I'm too old to go back to a shovel and wheelbarrow 😁
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio aren't we all but I'm still out there working for myself
I guess I'm just now remembering a ditch across the front lawn which I thought the lake would overflow from the other end. I had made a comment about filling it in a bit and widening it so it could be mowed and otherwise used when it wasn't overflowing and the grass would help control erosion. Now I'm wondering if that's still there? Why was the pipe overflow needed?
That ditch is still there, it was originally dug when it was a sand mine so they could lower the water level by pumping it up and into that...it's the highest elevation here so the water level could never reach it...here is the video explaining the overflow ruclips.net/video/JkvmISKJf0c/видео.html
Since it's all sand, why not use a mud pump? Crosslake, MN, used a mud pump on sand receding from sand beach.
I don't have one...
Is that a new bucket
No same one...going to the FL auctions again in a few weeks looking for a new one though...
